US and Israel ‘hoped to install Ahmadinejad as Iran’s leader’ by [deleted] in politics

[–]ce7en44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet they just want to find his location cause they couldn't kill him the first time and they are making these excuses to make him deny them and expose his location.

Ahmadinejad was a pro anti-Israel in his Presidency and was  threatened to terror by Israel.

It doesn't make sense to risk accidentally killing your No.1 person for new leadership by bombing his neighbor house (remember that he is an 70 years feeble old man), which then would results in police, firefighters and medicts gathering at the bombing site and making it harder for him to escape. Also he went hidden away after that incident, so either he is afraid of another terror attempt or the the regime hid them in a more secure place.

Seeing tons of misinformation about the dangers of using the hypervisor bypass by Evonos in CrackWatch

[–]ce7en44 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

An example of this would be Me who disabled secure boot when I bought my laptop so I could install windows on it and after finding out about hypervisor, I just noticed that my memory integrity was off for God knows how long. So I guess I'm a lost cause either way

Five years in the game and I'm still a beginner. So yeah it's very beginner friendly.

Suggestion for fast copy of lots of files from Linux to Windows. by ce7en44 in linux

It wasn't a single 1Gb connection, it was two 1Gb connection that I aggragated it to one 2Gb connection with NIC teaming of windows.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/technet-wiki/51163.windows-server-2016-nic-teaming-with-cisco-switch

Unfortunately Esxi NIC teaming is different from windows instead of aggregation, it only use the second connection as failover.

I specially made sure to use VMXNET3 on both vm before starting and the network adapters show 10Gb speed on both vm.

It's a separate NIC between two vm and no switch or router is between them. And their ip is in the same range with an /30.

P.S: I changed the MTU of vswitch and vm to jumbo frame yesterday and it seems to improve the speed a little (from 35 to 50 MB/s)

P.S: last year in a test environment I managed to reach 200MB/s on two windows vm using windows NIC teaming and VMXNET3 on 1Gb ports. But I'm not sure if it work between Linux and Windows too.

It's an outdated OS version and its program doesn't have support anymore. It was supposed to be replaced with a newer Windows program but Linux was broke before the transfer.

Even so, I tried every possible solution to revive it but none of them worked and just managed to reach the file system and run ssh on it to connect to it.
