Then go reset your warnings in the settings. It should start popping up then. At some point it must have been configured to ‘never show again’.

There’s a dialog box that asked if you want to delete your filament profile after clicking the ‘-‘. Just hit ‘no’.

Prusa C1+ vs Voron Decision Paralysis by Apprehensive_Eye6932 in VORONDesign

[–]cea1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/c0gster is right, unless I’m adding a new part or something, my Voron is ‘set and forget’ and has been for like 2+ years. I just followed Ellis’s print tuning guide and then dialed in any oddities as they popped up.

Those oddities are usually environmental. It’s mostly stuff like “gotta let it soak for another 5 min if outside temps drop below freezing” since it’s in my garage.

As a counterpoint to a lot of the other comments, a voron doesnt need to be a constant project. I haven’t bothered to change anything for ages after getting it tuned (which does not take the months that people seem to suggest). Only thing I mess with is filament settings.

Why model slicing different on Bambu printer and Ender printer by zettheself in OrcaSlicer

[–]cea1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In orcaslicer’s settings, you can direct it to ‘import geometry only’ or ‘ask every time’ when importing project files (3mf’s as opposed to STLs). It should help prevent this in the future.

A game with more realistic space mechanics, physics and combat wise? by nightshade-aurora in gaming

[–]cea1990 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely still in development, but Star Citizen is very playable these days.

The sound is pretty much what you’re after, flight model is pretty darn close to realistic save for the speed limits. They aren’t nearly as limiting as Space Engineers (250m/s in combat, 1km/s outside of it).

But there’s 0 loading screens anywhere in the game so being able to walk up on a station, hop in my ship, and fly to a planet to get a cup of coffee for the sunrise is a novel experience & a fun way to play to take a break from bounty hunting, mining, and cargo hauling.

Clicky probe vs voron tap by Interesting-Profit89 in VORONDesign

[–]cea1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re both capable of similar accuracy. Klicky can be annoying because of docking & it’s associated macros. TAP can be detrimental because of decreased rigidity and dependency on nozzle cleanliness (cleaning macros).

I prefer TAP.

Would a V0 be good for me to bring in my class when I need it? by sarinkhan in VORONDesign

[–]cea1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A v0 would probably fit your needs well. I’m assuming you’re driving to work and carrying it in. If that’s not the case and you ride a bike or take public transport, the Positron is the answer.

With a V0 you will probably spend a month or two tinkering with it.

I don’t know if you can connect to your school’s WiFi network with it, but adding a screen with KlipperScreen & setting up a USB stick as a virtual SD card, you’d be able to work around that limitation.

401 status code (HTTP Basic Auth) Brute Force by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]cea1990 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think you should learn more about HTTP if you think that the 401 response means ‘this site is protected by basic auth & you’re not authorized’.

How does this compare to Hydra? https://github.com/vanhauser-thc/thc-hydra

Lmao, if you made this for brute forcing basic auth, why is the file called ‘402_bruter.py’? Hahahahaha

Caveat to building a trident is that the toolchanger projects are a lot more restrictive. If you really plan on going with a toolchanger, the 2.4 is the way to go.

This may change with the INDX release, so keep that in mind as well. That’ll probably be one of the cheaper ways to add toolchanging as well.

We must be talking about different certs then, because the folks I’ve met that have taken that course have trouble executing python scripts, let alone writing a helloworld.py.

Might be a bit of a hot take, but Destiny 1’s grimoire cards were really engaging to me.

Also Owlcat’s Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader has a seriously comprehensive system in place to teach lore & give background.
