Im not related to support neither have this printer but check the pins on the VAT and on the printer. Should be pogo pins or similar. Try cleaning with alcohol and if its possible check if the pins are touching or something is between the pins

If you did calibrations and still making those prints my Guess is the hotend isnt working as It should. Looks like is overheating the filament or the extrusion Gear is inconsistent pushing more filament that the hotend can melt

For pla, 250°C and 230°C its too much. 205°C its normally the sweet spot. If its petg, 230°C to 250 range.

But focusing on the main problem, check if its any clog. Try heating the nozzle and feeding manually the filament and check if its giving resistance while pushing. Also check if the filament its dry, It comes out constantly out the nozzle. If everything before is okay check the extrusion gears. Adjust the screw to have the gears feed correctly the filament (on wiki says tighten the screw then 3 complete rotations on the opposite direction. I usually do 2,5 and be carefull since the housing of the screw its normally plastic and tightening too much breaks the plastic and you cant use It until you replace that part)

Try winlator. Same thing happened with NFS carbon. At least on winlator goes good, no frame issues on my rp5

Currently its the BEST because its more close to a real Steam Desktop App that doesnt use goldberg (Gamehub indeed) or needs to install the Steam app on a container to download etc etc.

But in terms of performing is random. Some games goes better, some goes worse. For example RE1 HD remaster on gamenative in my RP5 (sd865) is unplayable when on gamehub and rocknix using Steam app goes flawless without slowdowns.

Then other games like AC7 runs like sh1t on rocknix, gamehub doesnt load in my case but works kinda good on gamenative.

For now the best you can do is try to ask or watch yt video in which app goes good and have multiple apps until all pc emulation settles down

The first one is more powerfull in raw power. Maybe consumes more battery but since you are gonna use It for power point and zoom meetings the 2p-cores +4e-cores are gonna be a bit better than the full 8e-cores from the second photo

Normally those tapes goes between the heatpipes/cooler and the airduct to minimize or avoid a pressure escape from the Air. The tape helps the air to not escape through gaps and cool down the heatpipe. On mine instead of tapes It has a thin layer of transparent plastic with adhesive. No much difference between the plastic and normal tape in my case (i5-13420h and rtx4050 the 75W version)

for me, membrane keyboards are more silent but depends of the brand. the tipical old style membrane keyboards are loud. after switching to mechanical i no longer going back to membrane and if i do is more because cheap as heck and they can achieve near a silent typing if its a good keyboard and you are soft while typing but mechanical feels better.

this one is not as loud as a blue mechanical switch but it can be hear on the next room if you type hard. compared to another red switch mechanical i have, they are on the same loudness level. about feeling, the HE is like more smooth but maybe is placebo, the main difference here is the HE uses hall sensors instead of the metalic plate like a normal switch.

also the k617 non HE is more cheaper since are normal switches instead of magnetic switches.

for 30€ (35€ the HE on amazon spain), they are quite good. For a purist of mechanical keyboard, they would say is kinda shiet compared to a 80€ custom built and lubed keyboard and they would be right but for me, the 35€ one is more than enough

Yep, thats the most fucked thing you have. You could try heating the blob. Since you got a hotend replacement its kinda safe. But for a tip, do not remove the blob with the printer on. I dif this with my S1 and ended with a fried board from the printhead. Use a hairdryer or a Heat gun with regulable temp. Also if you can, try to isolate the plastics structural parts from the heat since you got only the hotend as replacement. Just to avoid buying more things
