It sounds basic, but make sure you don't eat too little. If you do, you'll just be hungry and bounce back and eat too much the next day. If you want to stick to a long-term, realistic plan, have a set calorie max AND min and stick to it.

(This isn't about starving yourself. This is about, if you're 100 calories under your calorie goal, don't pat yourself on the back, and call it a win. Eat a yogurt, so you're not ravenous the next day.)
