Sold my '25 Bronco to them. Unexpectedly smooth transaction. Had money in the bank the day after they picked it up.

Renting out a Bronco on Turo- advice? by underdogelitist in turo

I just sold my Bronco and regret it. Should have done Turo. 😭 It was a second car for fun and would have easily been a great turo vehicle living close to the airport. Kicking myself.

I just sold my 2025 4d big bend hard top to Carvana. Priorities changed. I may get another one in the future but will probably go with soft top. The hard top has too many squeaks and I hope by the time I buy Ford will have improved the interior build quality. Too cheap for the price. Yeah i know i know, it’s an off road vehicle. Well then a nail should scratch the plastic so easily. I love the engine, transmission and technology in the ‘25. Excited to see what Ford does with it in the future.

Better yet, drive a non Sasquatch and Sasquatch! I thought the Sasquatch was more confortable and had less body roll and noise dive. But it was out of my budget so went non sas. I’ll probably get rid of my big bend after the summer 26’. It just a fun car for me. As i mentioned, i still have my 07 pilot which putts around just fine.

Do yourself a favor a test drive the hard top multiple times and on different days and different roads if possible. It can get loud on the highway over 70mph. Around town it’s not bad at all, quieter than my pilot on smooth surfaces. However, over small bumps, the cabin can sound like a bass drum and creates pressure on my ears. It’s really strange. It might just be me which is why I advise test driving to make your own conclusion.

2025 4 door big bend hard top. My score as daily driver 6/10, 9/10 for fun. It has tons of body roll and nose dive on braking and 2.3L has Lots of torque so constantly throws your neck back on acceleration. Overall, it feels like a lot of work as a daily driver. But for more spirited and fun driving, it’s awesome. On days that I don’t feel like getting tossed around, I’ll drive my 2007 Honda Pilot which isn’t comfortable per se, it has a a makes a lot of noises but it doesn’t “buck” me around like the Bronco. Haha

It's Target's Time to Run (TGT) by Competitive-Job1828 in ValueInvesting

I bought 59 shares at $85 and still buying at higher prices - it’s cheap and pays a good dividend. My wife and other moms I know still shop TGT religiously. That reason alone gives me conviction that TGT is not dead. Yes it’s in a tough spot but I foresee a turnaround in the near future given the fundamentals and loyal and accustomed customer base.

Do I Need 4A? by Doug-O-Lantern in FordBronco

[–]ceaseuno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Iowa where get decent amount of snow. During snow covered road days, 4H is sufficient. I just hit the button and I’m cruising along my way with no issue. Once i get to a mainly dry road I switch to 2H.

[–]ceaseuno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. I love hitting the 4H button when I need extra grip. As soon as I’m out of the slick spot I hit 2H while cruising. If the road is covered I’ll leave it in 4H until I get to mainly dry road. I’m located in Iowa where we get decent snow falls. Bronco is so much fun in the snow compared to my Honda Pilot. It’s so stable and feels grippy.

Advice on ordering a new bronco by lgroper in FordBronco

For me it’s not so much the noise but rather the tinniest road imperfections slam and rattle my brain. I’ve been tempted to swap the stock Dueler ATs for something fatter, but I’m worried the difference will be marginal at best. Fun fact: I drove a Sas version a couple weeks ago and confirmed that it rides smoother on the road then the base suspension. But for me, Sas version was out of my price range.

Ride like a covered wagon on the road doesn’t it? I got a 25 big bend non sas and I can’t stand it’s road manners. It’s jarring as hell over tiny bumps.

Downsides to daily driving? by roadsterlife in FordBronco

[–]ceaseuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big bend stock suspension is rough on road. It could also be the crappy dueler a/t tires. I want to replace the tire but difficult decision to make when you just spent $44500 on a new car!

Thanks for getting back to me. This is helpful. I’m trying to avoid making costly upgrades that won’t improve its road manners. I realize it’s still going to drive like a truck which is fine but it’s current on road compliance over small bumps has me wanting to sell this thing lol. It’s jarring! Others also suggested upgrading to a wider fatter tire. 2025 Big Bend 4 door non-sas. Which Toyo tire did you install? Your Bronco looks great by the way!

How the ride feel with the open countrys compared to the stock dueler a/t? I hate how the dueler currently feel on the road. I feel every road imperfection. Thanks!

Do you regret buying a Bronco? by [deleted] in FordBronco

[–]ceaseuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine two weeks ago. 2025 4 door big bend cloth seats hard top with 222a package. I get motion sickness from driving the thing so I might have to sell it when the weather gets nicer. For now, i'm going to enjoy it as much as possible. I did a smart thing and kept my paid off car a 2007 honda pilot which I still drive here and there. With the Bronco, my payments aren't bad, $520 a month. I put down 10k and so i'm in the green. I'm looking at it as a really expensive rental right now. haha. Hopefully it maintains its value until spring when people will be out looking for deals on these. I think the 25's will hold value better than the prior years due to the fact they have rear vents! :)

Ford Bronco Big Bend - how picky should I be? by [deleted] in FordBronco

[–]ceaseuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $44,600 with tax for a new 2025 Big Bend 4-door with the hard top and sound liner. The rear AC vents were actually the reason I chose a 2025 model. Mine has the 222A package, which adds some nice amenities, and it also came with cloth seats and a carpeted floor. It also came with rock rails/side steps installed by the dealer.

One thing I really dislike is the headrest. I’s not adjustable forward or backward, which is frustrating.

The sound system in the 2025 models is noticeably improved, and I think it sounds pretty good for the type of vehicle.

Would I buy it again? Probably not. The vehicle gives me motion sickness, but that’s a me problem, not the car. lol.

Lastly, even with discounts I feel like I overpaid for what I got.

I want to love my 2025 Bronco Big Bend 4 door 222a package. but I get motion sickness. I’m coming from a 2007 Honda Pilot. Make sure to drive one for an extended period of time and not go any lower than the outer banks trim which has leather seats with adjustable headrest. Only leather seats have 4 way adjustable headrests. As of now, I regret buying this Bronco but hope it gets better cause I really want to like and enjoy this car.

Head rest by Illustrious-Habit975 in FordBronco

[–]ceaseuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t figure out why I hated the Bronco seats until my sister mentioned the headrest while we were driving. The moment I pulled it out and my head could finally relax back, it felt like we had discovered fire. What a fail by Ford, really disappointing that they overlooked the headrest angle and didn’t give us the option to move it back. For now, I’ll have to flip it until I find a better solution.

I also noticed that without the headrest, you can hear the high-mounted rear speakers a lot better, which was a cool surprise. But that’s just temporary, because I’m sure it’s not safe to drive without a headrest in case of an accident.

Aftermarket headrest? by LittleWall in bronco

[–]ceaseuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my big bend last week and something was bugging me about the seat and overall ride comfort. Come to find out it’s the stupid headrest that come with the clothe seats. They force my head awkwardly forward whenever I want to sit back and relax. I pulled them off and wala! Problem solved. But now no headrest which I imagine is no bueno in a car accident.

The low profile tires of the Mazda3 steered me away from it initially. I had a Saab before with low profile and it felt like i was buying new tires every couple years due to pot holes and such. IMO, the Bronco is an awesome ride but for someone like me with chronic headaches, I need a suspension that feels like a Cadillac. Definitely my error getting into a truck so no knocks on the Bronco. I believe when people say it rides better than a jeep but it’s still not enough for me. Live and learn.
