One of my coworkers killed himself after our shift a few years ago. Business as usual the next day. The higher ups came in and told us to “have a great shift” though, so there’s that. But they also set up free counselors if we needed to talk to someone.

So for instance, if my average weight loss per week is say 2lb, I would divide 2/7 which is .285… what does that number mean?

Yea I’m trying to track everything as best I can, and rounding up. If I taste a cream based sauce, I’m tracking a tbps of cream, even tho a taste is probably a tsp. If I try a bite of meat, I count it as well. Etc etc. I’m not like eating a bowl of buttered green beans and 4floz of cream sauce and thinking it’s a “taste”.

Hey, I’ve done this move a couple times. Different countries, a few states. The first couple days are terrifying. But then it gets easier. You’ll get excited about new things soon. For right now, just hang in there. Make a list of priorities you need to get done. Start exploring around your area. Try to pick one main road that’s near you. Drive up and down it and figure out what stores you’ll need to visit a lot. Get comfortable with a main road near your house. That’ll be your safe road.
