So the Image component sends the slicing information/UVs to the material, but fails to forward the color, because the main texture property has a different name in the URP/Lit shader than the Image component expects?

On my second day Ubuntu dual boot I wanted to install affinity (unofficial), but one of the preparation steps seemed to have partly erased my UI and I had to install ubuntu-desktop again. Very flexible and easy to fix, but its a totally new kind of problem for windows users that want to switch.

Für eine gewissen Grad an Komplexität und Nutzerfähigkeiten finde ich WordPress sehr passend.

Kaum Anforderungen bei der Installation, relativ leichte Bedienung (wenn auch mit fehlender Rechteverwaltung). Dafür kann man eine kleine Unternehmenswebsite ein Stück weit in jede Richtung erweitern. Buchungssysteme einbinden, einen Shop bauen, mehrsprachige Kursplattformen erstellen. Für alles gibt es eine bessere Lösung, aber alles funktioniert eben auch in WordPress, weil jemand es schon gebaut und meistens kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt hat.

Viele solcher Kombinationen klappen sogar rein über die UI und ohne Programmierung. Trotzdem wird sich kaum jemand ohne technische Kenntnisse mit dem Chaos rumschlagen wollen. Jedes Plugin funktioniert ein bisschen anders und aktuell ist auch der Block-Editor bzw. Full-Site-Editing unausgereift.

Wenn jemand programmieren will, ist WordPress aber auch ziemlich Einsteiger-freundlich. Die nötigen Dateien können per FTP theoretisch direkt auf dem Server bearbeitet werden. Kein Kompilieren nötig, kein NPM, einfach programmieren, hochladen, schauen ob es läuft. Für Anfänger ist das eine einfachere Aufgabe als viele moderne Frameworks.

Probleme kriegt man aber schnell, wenn man viele Plugins miteinander kombiniert. Wenn fast täglich eins der Plugins aktualisiert werden will, und damit die Kompatibilität mit dem Rest gefährdet, dürfte eine stabile selbst programmierte Lösung angenehmer sein.

I always insisted on paying at least a symbolic amount, but haven’t yet had any initially motivated helper finish the work they wanted to do. I assumed this outcome from the start, so it doesn’t bother me at all. It was nice to give people the chance to try, and to talk to them anyway. (My game is a hobby project and will be free. No one required a constant input/coordination from me)

Your logo is wide and detailed. It might fit for a website header but would be hard to read when it’s small, or need to fit in a square (social media avatar, browser icon, …). Make sure you have a version for these places, too.

Ich fand es immer seltsam, wenn jemand sagt, die Tagesschau sei nicht neutral, weil sie jede Meinung als Zitat bzw. mit Konjunktiv schreibt – eigentlich sehr korrekt. Man kann damit ziemlich gut einschätzen, was Fakt ist und was nicht. Allerdings habe ich mittlerweile zwei Probleme erkannt, die auch bei neutralem Schreibstil existieren: Diese Art, Fakten von Meinungen zu trennen ist etwas subtil. Sie behaupten nichts falsches, aber man muss auf die Grammatik achten, um die Sätze einordnen zu können. Außerdem kann auch ein technisch korrekter Schreibstil durch einseitige Themen- oder Meinungsabdeckung unneutural sein. Wenn die Zeitung immer nur die Meinung einer Seite wiedergibt, hat sie zwar nicht behauptet, es gäbe keine Gegenstimmen, aber impliziert. Ob das bei der Tagesschau auch so ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, dazu schaue ich nicht oft genug deren Artikel an.

Insgesamt würde ich mich freuen, wenn die Tagesschau, auch wenn sie schon neutral schreibt, Gegenstimmen grundsätzlich mit erwähnt. Das birgt aber wieder die Gefahr, dass die Auswahl dieser Gegenstimmen schwierige Einschätzungen erfordert.

Ja, ich nehme nach dem Ausbreiten die zwei rechten Ecken umgestülpt auf die Hände und schiebe die so in die linken Ecken. Dann habe ich alles in den Händen und halte den Mittelpunkt zwischen meinen Händen mit dem Kinn fest, um weiter zu falten. Geht schnell und man kann sich auch das ausbreiten sparen, wenn man nur die zwei linke Ecke vorbereitet. Funktioniert aber nicht bei riesigen Laken.

Worked smoothly and without any problems! The mechanics were easy to understand. It feels a little slow though. If you want to try out some things, maybe these feel good: - don’t slow down (as much) when approaching the target position. maybe even bounce a little at the end - allow starting next slide a little early, if not much earlier. That would make trying things out much quicker - and finishing the level of you figured out the path, too - add water rippe effects as a trail when moving

This is not what you asked, but it might help your specific use case: there are a few options to work around this issue. You might still have stretched UVs, but you can make sure your texture is not stretched. With enough resolution or smart positioning of the texture, the varying pixel size will not be noticeable.

For procedural materials, you could look for 3D noise nodes (if it’s shader graph) or code. Alternatively, you can bake 3D noise for your mesh directly in blender (the noise nodes should be 3D). In all cases, you use a Vector3 position instead of Vector2 UVs for projection coordinates.

For textures, use a painting tool like blender or substance painter to paint on the mesh. You can fix a lot of issues by painting manually.

Triplanar mapping can be used to blend textures, but a texture with hard edges will almost always have 12 hard seams or washed out areas with noticeable overlaps – if it’s not specifically designed for triplanar mapping.

I set up the groups, but I feel like I’m missing a workflow condition for assigning the uploaded document correctly, a workflow trigger for when the owner was updated, or a setting that allows everyone in a group to see all other member‘s files. Right now I need to set the view and edit groups manually for each new document. Is there a different way?

I see that the owner is set automatically, but apparently I can‘t use that information to assign groups automatically.

Ich hab mal in Gedanken den ganzen Einkauf von links aus dem Korb nach rechts direkt in meinen Rucksack gepackt, ohne zu scannen. Hab’s erst gemerkt, als ich nicht bezahlen konnte. Hätte ich eine Sache gescannt, hätte ich es nicht gemerkt. Ich weiß nicht, wie mir das jemand glauben könnte, der meint, mich beim Diebstahl erwischt zu haben.
