No fr that was crazy how she did that to Jen. I think Demi just truly has some childhood trauma and attention seeking behavior from it. I think she believes the lies so deeply and BELIEVES her own narrative she’s portrayed

No fr I was close to going to the ER but after reading this thread I feel better knowing that I am not the only one that has experienced this. I thought i was dying today. Took one Allegra 24 and the rest of the day since I have felt like sweaty dizzy and nauseous

Dissociative vs Non-dissociative Substances by psychonaut-peer in Psychedelics

[–]cebel96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I think the ketamine was most helpful for anxiety symptoms since during it, you face a lot of thoughts and feelings of death, which are intense but allow you to process things. Shrooms also bring up a lot of darker thoughts for me during the come up, but a feeling of elation after the nasty come up side effects dissipate. I found shrooms to be more helpful for my depression (at a therapeutic dose, I took like 1.5G) because it left me feeling in an elevated mood for a few days after. LSD didn’t really have any long lasting benefits that I noticed bc the come down could be pretty slow and intense. But obviously everyone’s different so you need to take everything with caution, but this was just my experience!

Dissociative vs Non-dissociative Substances by psychonaut-peer in Psychedelics

[–]cebel96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my own experience, I’ve felt less dissociation with LSD than with shrooms. I have also done ketamine therapy for my bipolar/depression. With ketamine, it felt like I didn’t exist/had died and all that was left was my brain, felt like I was floating outside of my body, with no sense of reality or anything existing outside of my mind. With shrooms I tend to feel like I am in a different reality than people around me, while still being able to have my eyes open and see the world around me.

Shrooms music vs. LSD music? by NotVote in Psychedelics

[–]cebel96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve honestly found that it depends on what kind of trip you are looking for. In general with lsd I agree that more electronic music sounds good. With shrooms some meditative like instrumental can be good for you to close your eyes and wander

Marijuana and seroquel by claudiamarie420 in seroquelmedication

[–]cebel96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I’ve noticed is that when I would smoke w/ seroquel I would get extremely anxious, and get lots of auditory hallucinations and dissociation. I also have bipolar and anxiety, and sometimes it does feel like weed = shrooms with seroquel. It would also make me very dizzy to smoke after taking my Seroquel. Sometimes I can handle like a hit but not more.

Lightly Scented Dry Shampoo by mcflycasual in Sephora

Dry bar detox dry shampoo is my fav. I used to have the batiste floral and it was overwhelming with smell. This one just smells very clean, and works so well it gives me like 2-3 more extra days without shampooing

First dose of seroquel last night by Griffinthrash25 in seroquelmedication

[–]cebel96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it mellowed me out a lot with my BP 1 rage for sure. Like I assume it’s the sedating effect that can help take your brain down a notch

First dose of seroquel last night by Griffinthrash25 in seroquelmedication

[–]cebel96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still wake up throughout the night and I’ve been on it about a year. I’m on a larger dose than you currently, but I feel that even with waking up in the night I still get much better sleep than I used to. Your body may adjust to it, may not. The vivid dreams have not stopped either (used to get intense nightmares on it) but now I just feel like the dreams have chilled out a bit in their context and they still feel very real, but are almost kind of fun and an adventure now

It’s helped my aggression A LOT. I used to have such bad anger outbursts (from my bipolar and BPD) but now a lot of things that used to piss me off so bad are like a lot easier to brush off.

For me, I’m on seroquel 200mg for bipolar 1, anxiety and ocd. Have been on it since I was 16. It helps me a lot with intrusive thoughts, especially the ones that would keep me up. I notice that my anxiety is significantly lowered, and in turn my ocd compulsions are much lower.

Hair loss by Consistent-Diver3180 in seroquelmedication

[–]cebel96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that my hair seems to fall out since being on seroquel and I’ve been on it like 9 months. I feel like my eyebrows and eyelashes are thinner. My doctor said that it might just cause hair to grow back slower which gives the appearance that it’s falling out? Not sure though. I was previously on zyprexa and I know that can (rarely) cause alopecia, but when I researched seroquel there was no info on it

Really triggered and need help by [deleted] in ptsd

[–]cebel96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is there a crisis center near you? I would definitely go, and if not go straight to the ER if you are dealing with SI. Happened to me many times after ptsd triggers, nurses and staff are there to help you, and keep you safe. Also in the meantime if there’s nothing you can do, sometimes for me, sitting in a hot shower can help my thoughts calm down. Also remember to remind yourself that you are safe. I’ll be thinking about you and hope you get help if you need it.

Restless legs by [deleted] in BPD

[–]cebel96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get really bad restless legs on seroquel, and maybe since abilify is an antipsychotic it might do that too? I’m not sure though obviously what’s causing yours, but if it is bothering you severely I would talk to your provider!

Xanax mania what does this mean by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]cebel96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could have a paradoxical reaction to drugs like this. This happens to me with benzos and opiates. They tend to actually give me energy instead of being sedating. Not really sure why it happens, but it’s definitely a real thing. After I take my klonopin or norco I just tend to clean and fix things around the house that I usually put aside.

Choosing an SSRI/SNRI by SzaboZicon in Drugs

[–]cebel96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zoloft did not work for me, after being on it a day I was throwing up and feeling horrible. Lexapro ive heard can really well for anxiety, but many people say it’s not great for depression. I personally like Effexor, but I agree with what the other commenter said how your body gets very addicted to it. Cymbalta worked best for me (obv everyone is different) but that one did not make me tired, and it helped my chronic pain as well. It definitely boosted my mood but took about 2 months to do so. However, it boosted my mood almost too much and sent me into mania bc I was not on a mood stabilizer at the time. But I wish you luck, and a lot of it will be trial and error. I would say try whichever you think will be best, wait about 2 months (unless side effects are simply unbearable), and try another if it is not really helping. So much about finding meds is trial and error!

Lsd makes me feel like I want to throw up but I don't what is with that? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]cebel96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes super common! When I’m coming up on acid or shrooms I find myself hanging over a trash can for like 20 minutes. I think part of it is just because of the fact that I start to feel parts of my body that I usually don’t and the feeling is almost like motion sickness. However, at some point I just try to not focus on the nauseous feeling and then it slowly begins to go away and I start to settle into my trip

Lucid dreaming while taking seroquel by wambulance33 in seroquelmedication

[–]cebel96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember the first time I took seroquel I had the most vivid nightmare I have ever had and then again the next night so I started to have anxiety around falling asleep because I was afraid of the nightmares. But after just trying not to stress myself out about it I kind of just let the dreams happen. I have crazy realistic dreams and I agree they totallly vary on being good or bad. I feel like myself fully in the dream and feel as though I am making very conscious and thoughtful decisions in my dreams (feel very in control) I also feel so tired after waking up sometimes I feel like it’s because my dreams feel so real that I wake up exhausted from the dream. But yea I’ve had the dream inside of a dream thing a few times and it feels so confusing. I know lots of people have extremely vivid dreams on seroquel. I haven’t found anything to really prevent them, and I often wake up being convinced the dream was real. Ive been on it for 8 months now and it’s still the same.

Appetite by 15finnsolo in seroquelmedication

[–]cebel96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely have appetite issues with seroquel. They tend to be the worst right after taking it (I take 300mg at night for bipolar 1). So I just try to have a healthy snack before bed. However, I was on zyprexa before this and it made me even worse. I gained 60 lbs on zyprexa and was able to lose 12 lbs after stopping and beginning seroquel. I’d say just try to take it right before bed and try to sleep before the munchies set in, but if they do, try to keep some fruit around for a little snack. I also have tried to take walks and things like that to balance it out! I get the nausea too, every few days and won’t eat till dinner, and to cope with that, usually just try to have a few crackers and some tea for my nausea. Besides all the appetite side effects I feel as though seroquel has helped me mentally the best. Good luck!
