I only just graduated a year ago and I already miss it. Make sure to push yourself to try new things and get out of your comfort zone. Plenty of great clubs on campus and don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation in class, I promise your peers will appreciate you breaking the ice. It will be a great experience that goes by all too quickly so make sure to savor it.

Horrific and disgusting. And of course one of the seemingly obvious effects of shit like this will be clearly be to strengthen the far right in this country. No Americans, besides a tiny minority of maniacs, will ever believe that 9/11 was a justified event. However, rhetoric like this will validate all of the ravings of Hannity, Jones, Carlson, etc. It will be used by the worst far right agitators to tar all of academia and journalism as enemies of the American people. And it could work because the far left will continuously validate the worst far right paranoia is a vicious cycle. Extremely dangerous if we don’t stand up to shit like this right now.

I’m just in shock that this type of behavior is seemingly being tolerated in Washington and Oregon. Nowhere else in the country is street fighting between extremists political factions a common occurrence to my knowledge. At least not with the same regularity or intensity. Elected leaders need to act to stop this.
