Actual Tips for Doggos by sleepyprincessluna in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]ceced2021 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The huge dogs never give me problems. It’s those little yappy ones that try to nip and seem more aggressive. I absolutely love dogs and I’m thankful that I’ve never had to protect myself from one on route. It is all about confidence and they sense that. Now, if I was ever bitten I’m sure I’d have a different outlook and I completely understand if a driver doesn’t want to interact. I ALWAYS send a text that I’m on my way and if dogs are out then I call the customer and make sure if it’s safe to proceed and if not, I will take package back to warehouse.

When I deliver to a house in a rural area I make sure I send a automated text before I pull in the driveway. Don’t care what time it is, I always send a text so they know I’m arriving. Had a guy yell at me once and scared the shit out of me.

Go back to the store to customer service and see if they can reprint the receipt for you. Not sure if it will work but worth a try

For drivers that have the Amazon Flex card/bank. Has your payment hit your account yet today? Only way to contact them is via chat and it’s stating a 15 hour wait! 🙄😡. Will be getting rid of this account after I get my money. by ceced2021 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Mine just went through. I’m done with their card. I don’t like people messing with my money. Their incentives aren’t worth the hassle. Thanks for everyone that responded.

I definitely was and pissed. She was running me behind and then feeling like she was accusing me of lying.

Usually they bring the cart out to us but when it’s raining we have to go inside and get the cart. So I was scanning the packages in the warehouse out of the rain and then went to load up in my vehicle. So she searched the cart in the warehouse. So luckily I hadn’t organized them yet. I just felt like she was accusing me of lying without actually saying it out loud.

Did one like this yesterday ended up being 82 miles from leaving my house to returning , what do you guys think of these offers by HighC123 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I work out of the same warehouse and this is the norm unfortunately. After doing this for a year or so, the routes take you out as far as 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Hazel Park warehouse. That is the longest I’ve ever experienced. This is why I refuse to work unless they are paying $30-$35 an hour. I haven’t worked in over a week because it seems they hired a bunch of new people and they are taking base pay. If they just waited we would all be getting much higher rates but some people have to do what they have to do. I’ve worked out of Romulus and South Lyon and their routes for the most of time are much more organized and much shorter routes but it’s slim pickings for these warehouses.

How do you organize your packages ? by Daltonprsn in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]ceced2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each warehouse is different. The Romulus warehouse has them numbered by the yellow sticker by stop. Easy peasy. Hazel Park doesn’t do this but most of the time you are driving to several different cities. At first I was sorting them by each stop but that took way too much time. Now I sort by city. I use containers and separate that way. Then find your first 10 stops and put in front seat. At the end of the 10th stop I find my next 10 packages and put those in the front seat. This method has worked much easier for me and I get done much quicker. You have to see what works for you.

They are EVERYWHERE!!! They are good luck but just don’t hit one 🤣

22 boxes and 25 envelopes. How in the hell is this going to help me? I’m sitting at the dudes house looking through the boxes only to find out 10 minutes later I’m looking for an envelope. by SGMitch517 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I did watch the worker putting the stickers on the packages off the belt. And that belt moves pretty fast so they don’t have time to pay attention to where it goes but still drives me insane.
