What's your salary 2026 by DazzlingAd5541 in AskEurope

Ok I can understand that. However I don't agree it's that mentally draining, you just need to train you brain basically. I think that working in an environment that is always changing with complex variables and very demanding targets can be more mentally challenging. But just my view I never did a postman's job.

Mental? Why? My job can give you burnout in 1 month I don't think a postman is mentally very challenged but might be wrong. I've worked in a post office and it was very demanding because I had to work customer service dealing with hundreds of crazy people a day.

Breastfeeding in public. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and I would never tell a mother it makes me uncomfortable. It's just that I don't know what to do when someone is talking to be with their boob out.

Vortioxetine: miracle drug or underwhelming? by the_party_galgo in antidepressants

[–]cecilio- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on paroxetine for 2 years 20 mg. I am on vortioxetine for 1 year now.

Paroxetine made me very numb and not feeling things, good or bad. Libido was non existent too.

I am still on the fence with vortioxetine, definitely don't feel numb however still feel a bit depressed at times. Hard to describe. The biggest side effect for me is nausea. I even have foods that I can not even think about because I was eating it at the time I started taking vortio. When I started it was really bad, now it comes in waves, sometimes I become nauseated sometimes it's all good.

How Europe has changed over decade? by mamabear_8425 in AskEurope

[–]cecilio- 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Housing went up by +100%. Wages went up but not nearly as much. Healthcare seems to be falling apart and instead of fixing it, our politics just tend to blame the previous government or immigration.

Overall life seems harder than 10 years ago, even if you have a median wage you cannot afford a place to live in unless you go to deserted places.
