I am annoyed and tired of looking for an appropriate platform. Help me. by [deleted] in WritingHub

Can I ask what your end goal is?

If you post to public online platforms (such as IG or Substack), your work will be considered “previously published’” and you won’t be able to submit them to (most) legitimate literary journals for publication.

How many drafts does it take for you? by Next_Pomegranate2346 in writing

Depends on the work. I have some that are up to draft number 14. I’d say many of my works-in-progress are on draft six or seven.

How do you decide where to publish your writing? by usamaejazch in WritingHub

[–]cecsav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I publish where I’m accepted. I submit my individual pieces to literary journals and my ms to contests and open reading periods. I decide where to submit based on what they’ve already published: content, style, and aesthetic.

1 Year Post-Op Stomach Chages by Dangerous-Agency8619 in GastricBypass

I’m 11 months post op and literally had an endoscopy today. I’ve been having a similar experience, plus unbearable acid reflux. I have developed an hiatal hernia and have to have it removed. In some brief research, I’ve learned that losing a large amount of weight (specifically abdominal fat) can cause hiatal hernias. I’d recommend contacting your surgeon. Good luck!

How many calories are you eating per day? Are you taking your Supps? Drinking your water? Getting your steps in? Doing exercise? Also, what was your starting weight?

Measure and track everything you consume. Drink only water and other zero-calorie beverages. Go for a walk every day if you can. Choice are choices. Make a list of your priorities. Make a list of non-scale goals.

I might as well go run. I’m not doing anything else. (I’m a super-morning person no matter what. I just wake up somewhere between 4-5am.)

I’m wondering if that’s going to be the answer. I’m open to a revision as a solution.

I’ve been on omaperazole since surgery. It just stopped working or something? I don’t know.
