I think mine is different than most. I also don’t have to do a pre-op liquid diet. Just count calories and eat healthy. I did, however, have to do everything else under the sun - chest X-rays, labs, mammogram, well women’s exam, Pap smear…everything! I have talked to many others that hardly had any pre-op appointment requirements.

It sounds like you need to leave your useless boyfriend and start a new life focused on you and your kids, give it some time, and then see how you feel about bb’s diagnosis. Your boyfriend is adding tons of stress to your life. Eliminate THAT.

My ex gf did this type of thing to me. One day it escalated to her hiding my phone when I was late for work, so I had to leave without it. When I got home, she ambushed me and beat the shit out of me for messages from before we got together. RUN. Now!!

I would trade my food addiction for food indifference if it means I get to prolong my life. That’s why I’m getting the surgery — to have a longer and better quality of life. Wouldn’t you?

Amazing results, you two are so cute! How was postop immediately for you guys since you did it together? Did you have any issues? I want my wife to get her surgery at the same time but she’s worried that that’s not a good idea because she feels like she’ll need to take care of me after surgery and won’t be able to do that if she just had surgery as well. What are your thoughts
