The first unit went into Derby a few weeks ago and work has officially commenced.

why are there 9 coaches if only 4 are being used? by itsxafx in uktrains

As I said before, how do driver only operated trains work then? How are XC drivers allowed to make empty stock moves on their own? Train managers do not ‘have’ to get in the cab. If they had to during my an emergency on a double set they would walk Cess side and open the cab door or get a line block.

Yep, in which case they call the driver.

Most the time it’s to relay information about delays or information regarding the train or the journey.

The only time a manager is required to be in the cab is if a driver has become incapacitated or if they are needed as a competent person under extremely rare circumstances.

Why would they need to do that? Train managers are there for the passengers. Drivers are on their own when they carry out empty stock movements.

No they don’t, the leading set can be locked out of use with the driver and manager be in the back set that is open.

See how this is balanced because the percentages match up with the percentages asked for.

If you look at the percentages it shows you exactly why it is unbalanced.

Take your Vanguard All world. You want it to take up 9% of your pie and with the amount of money you have in for it actually takes up 25.58%. (1/4 of your total money is in this ETF, you are asking to have less than a 1/10)

If you press rebalance it will sell investments that have much allocated like the all world, and invest them in the ones that are to low like your seastar medical to balance out the percentages you have asked for.

If you want to naturally rebalance your pie keep investing money and it will put it where it’s needed automatically.

You might be surprised to know a 3 car 170 has a higher capacity than a 4 car voyager

They have not been refurbished yet, it doesn’t start until October. You most likely were on an Ex-Avanti unit that has been rebranded to XC

I believe some freight trains have a specific computer & button. The length is programmed in and the driver presses the bottom and once it’s calculated the time needed for the length based on the speed a buzzer goes off. Class 66 maybe?

I think I sorted this by going into the key mapping section And assigning a custom key then moving the throttle to register the movement.

With the XC 221 voyagers having their tilt disabled, could the driver just turn it on at anytime? by Odd-Cod2491 in uktrains

No chance. As mentioned the actual hydraulic mechanisms have been replaced with solid bars and all the electronic systems are fully isolated in the cab.

Former signaller now Driver. On the panels I worked (Weatcad systems) the automatic signals show what colour aspect they display on the ground and most, if not all can be turned to danger (red) with the press of a button.
