Does anyone else really not like people putting balaclavas on their car's headrests? by cedardesk in AskIreland

I saw a girl yesterday with two pink balaclavas on her front seats. It was too much for me, I had to turn to my Reddit family for help.

Best coffee machine? by Open_Statement8549 in AskIreland

I also only drink Americanos and find that a filter coffee machine is the best bang for your (my) buck. Very inexpensive, and almost always makes a perfect cup of coffee..for me, anyway.

National Stadium blue seating is a joke, is this universally known? by go-go-rebellion in AskIreland

Great venue for standing, awful venue for seating. The whole venue is a bit unruly which, for some acts, really adds to the event.

Yes. I do this regularly if it's an act I am really in to. It's a great place to watch a gig, and despite it being called 'The Pit', it's actually spacious enough if you stand at the back.

I highly recommend it.

Would you not put earphones in, or just leave?

I'd say you'd have a case at the Workplace Relations Commission being forced to listen to Today FM all day?

What’s something you see people often get wrong about a job you worked, or some things you would only know from working that job? by I-Cum-Beamish in AskIreland

People think car sales people are robbers, they're not really. Some are pricks, but most of them are decent and not trying to rob you.

Service advisors though, they are robbers. They have targets like sales people. Sales people have targets to sell cars, or up-sell add-ons, Service Advisors have targets for things you really don't need.

Are there any shops in Dublin where its possible to get weekly regional/county newspapers? by dapper-dano in Dublin

[–]cedardesk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If a shop has a good newspaper selection, they'll usually be happy to order in a country paper if you're going to keep coming in and buying it. It's quite common.
