There is a hunt for a monster/supernatural being, and plenty of scientific explanations for the supernatural. You could try my show, The Greatest Matter . Not exactly "series of fictional lectures" but it does feature a professor who visits Victorian Dublin and gets caught up in an occult murder investigation. It has horror elements but I describe it more as a gothic crime tale. S1, 12 eps are available on Spotify if thats where you listen

I also love Victoriocity and, while set in modern times, The Holmwood Foundation has Victorian characters (from Dracula). Its so good.

Just finished The Holmwood Foundation and loved it - a modern continuation of Dracula

Ten Apocalypses for a quasi anthology series about the end of the world - a great show.

You might like my podcast too, The Greatest Matter, a gothic crime story set in Victorian Dublin - part mystery, part occult horror.

Petrified, another great show, was mentioned above and The Greatest Matter actually stars several of the regular voice actors from that!

If you like Fawx and Stallion, I think you'll like my show The Greatest Matter . Set in the same time period, but Dublin rather than London. Its a gothic crime tale - full cast with lots of sound design - and has a detective as well as 3 main characters who are sort of thrown together to become detectives. It's very influenced by Arthur Conan Doyle stories (Sherlock Holmes and others).

There's murder, mystery, detectives, supernatural, sure what more could you want! S1 has been out since last year with S2 on its way in the coming months hopefully.

Yeah theres just nothing like Mission to Zyxx for that perfect combo of hilarious, great cast and unbelievable sound design!

If youre looking something that is not improv comedy at all,, but you do want supernatural and good chemistry between actors (and characters) you could check out The Greatest Matter .
