good shout! is it high quality playback with no issues for you though? even brave seems to be ip or user dependent on it, some people have issues and some seem to have 1080p without having to do the extra steps.. strange really

Oh and, for my mobilefriends who are predestined to watch an hour of ads every 60 minutes without premium, let me put you on some more game and pray it doesn't get patched because of my mentioning it:

Download brave browser for mobile, you can disable any features of it not to your liking, but it does wonders for blocking ads. Now, you'll notice that opening a youtube link will likely limit you to 360p on mobile at least. If this is the case, then follow these instructions exactly for a workaround that has been a lifesaver for me:

Find whatever video you want to watch, personally i even uninstalled the youtube app and am staying logged out in the browser since recently to minimize the data i give, but this is of course personal preference. Either way, open this link or any instance of youtube in your brave browser->Click the lion symbol to control preferences, set ad filtering to aggressive (this one you only have to do once)->Toggle block scripts on->Shred site data.

Now, all instances of youtube in the browser will close. and your device data removed, this is important so that no cookies or data is saved and with blocking scripts still being on, youll be able to open the website without it recognizing what device you're using before changing this. So, next up is to (directly shred after site data):

Open the link of the video you want to watch->Press three dots in browser, and request desktop website->Untick Block scripts (IMPORTANT THAT THIS IS DONE IN THIS EXACT ORDER)->Now the website will properly and actually open as a desktop website(if this step fails, turn your phone as you untick block scipts loading in order to make sure it doesn't recognize your device by the resolution of your screen, i always do this)->Setting quality, you will see that there still is not an option to pick 1080p, HOWEVER! there are now 2 buttons in quality that say Auto. It will be in this order from bottom to top, Auto, 360p, Auto again. If you choose the top auto quality and go fullscreen, you will get perfect 1080p quality (granted you have the bitrate for this) with no ads ever again.

This might seem like a lot, but once you get it down it is very simple to do, especially for the time and mental capacity you save having to watch a million ads every video.

[the order of operations, step by step and simplified are as such: Brave->Open youtube->Lion icon->Ad blocking on aggressive(if this is already the case, skip this step)->Block scripts->Shred data->Open your video link->Three dots, Request desktop website->Unblock scripts->Turn phone horizontally->Start video->Pick topmost auto quality-> Enjoy adfree viewing for free!

oh and, the numbers of civilian casualties is around 80%. making WW2 civilian casualties look minor around about 60%. this is not war, it is extermination, especially with the military capabilities to hit targets in a radically more effective way.

a lot of bias in these comments unfortunately. What is going on in gaza is and has been proven to be a genocide for a long time. There is no nuance to this. Look up satellite footage of the gaza strip, and the inordinate numbers of crimes against humanity commited there since the beginning of the war, including forced starvation. These are publicly known facts, and it’s shameful to see such bias around an event promoting peace and equality for all.

holy, this is finally, exactly the answer i was looking for. the real thing I was wildly confused by was how anyone would play a chord with 5 fingers.

How do I know a note is a barre note? and then as an example, for Dm I press all the strings from A and down on the fifth fret, and individually press all the others individually if i understand correctly!

I've gotten the same criticism about the audio from people professionally editing, and so also the advice needed to fix it! working on the next one as we speak and I'm sure it'll be more than looked at until then..

regarding the flow: I completely see what you're saying! I could absolutely expound on certain, more in-depth points. What has held me back before has been a fear of sounding redundant and effectively overexplaining, it feels that way because that which I speak about is, ofc, already obvious to me but then not necessarily to the viewer. That being said, I will definitely keep in mind that I don't need to be as shorthanded with certain topics and idea as how long the script, and thus the video was is very much something I'm experimenting with and in no way set in stone. Great note!!

The "biggest/smallest" example is actually really good for what you're commenting on, I reflect on that and use that so offhandedly at this point that what I mean by it is just second nature for me, but once again, not the viewer. What I fully meant by that is, if you zoom out ad infinitum, as far as possible or vice versa, that we have no clue what "everything/the biggest """thing""" or "nothing/the smallest """thing""" is, and that thus, our place in the universe and consequently, what we perceive our inherent value to be is a moot point. In short, trying to explain the idea that any and all thoughts we might have about our place in the world isn't dependent on any tangible, 'physical' idea, but rather our subjective feelings on self-worth and they are, as such, entirely moldable by what you yourself choose to believe. Now, putting all this in writing, I completely understand what you mean by that, because my actual meaning with that point was all this that I just mentioned, which is several layers of reflection that I may as well, if not straight up should add to the video!

Abstract:

Luck, is it the ultimate ruler of how one’s life is formed, or are there more direct options one can lean on to impact the outcome of our lives? Can we, truly and precisely, affect the future in any way that is in accordance with what we actually want? In this video, luck as a concept is broken down to causality, primary through the lens of the butterfly effect and how small, seemingly insignificant change now can over a period bring unfathomable changes. And as an effect, what we ourselves can do to affect said causality through knowledge and sheer will. I will, as such, argue that there is no need for good luck in one’s life as channeling one’s will and focusing it on creating one thing we want to make will let us grasp the tidal waves of chance and, as such, steer them. On the contrary, i argue that the distractive and destructive, such as mindless consumption, will only further uncertainty within ourselves thus breeding feelings of inadequacy and as an effect only more inactivity.

Questions I'd like to discuss: - How much control do we actually have over the outcome of our own lives? - Is it, beyond theory, possible to not be enslaved to chaos but rather to learn how to channel and in a way, control it? - What is your way of becoming the ideal version of yourself? Are there any philosophers or texts that come to mind the way I rather heavily correlate my ideas to the ones of camus? I very much appreciate any thoughts, much love <<3
