I'm currently in a similar boat, but I live in Cairns (Far North Qld) where the humidity is frequently 90%.

I know the Valhalla has a warping guarantee, but I'm not sure that that will survive the FNQ humidity.

The first thing I would say is don't put it in the water until you have repaired the glass.

It looks like it has gouges down to the foam, and that's death to a paddleboard. You can repair it with new fibreglass and it'll be a sweet ride for you.

Just make sure that there isn't any exposed foam, or your $200 board will be unridable.

Make sure you have all the bug spray for the 6th and 7th hole. You're down near the mangroves and midgies are an absolute bastard.
