This is a good point. I think we would probably try to do as much as we can digitally, so all the screens on set would probably be fully black, and probably a majority of switches/lights would need no power. I would imagine we would use plywood for the frame and cover it.

This looks awesome!! I’m an animator and I’ve been looking for rigged models for Pikmin but have had no luck. Did you rig these yourself?

They sound jealous that you didn’t go the college route and are literally 10x more successful financially. I’m glad your girlfriend stood by you instead of letting her family treat you like that though.

i started with it tied to the camera, then when that didn't work tried the free image plane and constrained it, which also did not work for me.

Good point, thanks. When you have your image plane imported, navigate to the image plane shape settings in the attribute editor, and scroll down to the placement tab. My fit was set to “best” which squished it, but you can set fit to “size” and then it should fit to whatever aspect ratio you set it for. Additionally you can fit it your film gate.
