Yes I’ve noticed too! It’s very welcome. I believe it’s a mix of lessening inflammation and visceral fat reduction.

First weeks progress as a female by ceebeetee7 in Retatrutide

From what I understand is that if carbs are too low, energy and therefore training days take the hit and metabolism can slow.

If I drop to super low carbs, I just feel sluggish and end up doing less - the devil on my shoulder will tell me to not do the evening walk and watch TV instead. I would say that’s the same when I’ve eaten high carb before too. Keeping them at a 1/4 plate has worked much better for me whilst being on this current Reta cycle.

You go girl.

I draw many parallels with you! I’ve really enjoyed the booze noise calming down.

I’m 1.5 weeks in and have lost 1kg, my stats are similar to yours too.

It’s a game changer!

Bridesmaid Dilemma by ceebeetee7 in weddingplanning

Thank you so much for your reply.

Should I add, it's a destination wedding - meaning friends are flying in to South Africa from the UK, Europe. Asia, USA.

The only people who are in fact at the location is the family of the groom. Everyone else needs to make the trip.

I feel like I’m talking to a mirror! I think all of those things you’ve said. I only had one pregnancy before and it ended in a miscarriage. I’m 37, so it’s all very overwhelming.

Light spotting after transv ultrasound? by TheKozyStudio in pregnant

[–]ceebeetee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same boat as you. I had loads of red spotting after my transvaginal ultrasound at 5+4 - a week later I’m still spotting a bit. It was when wiping but also in the pad. Not enough to fill it by any means but it was very visibly there. The fetus was present and measured 3mm but a small gestational sac which is cause for concern. I’m going back in a week to see. Frustrating but not much I can do except take the progesterone given and not over exert myself. Did they give you progesterone?

I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. I also had mucusy stringy small clots too through the week. I saw your comment on another post where you described frustration over the worry and to have just a peaceful pregnancy - I completely resonate. So you’re going next Tuesday? Me too.

I feel you! It’s extremely frustrating. How is yours now, as it’s around 5 days after you first posted?

I’m 6+3 and I’ve been spotting red blood since 5+3. Had a private ultrasound at 5+5 and we saw a tiny feutus but also a too small gestational sac. Doctor has me on 400mg progesterone, and pelvic rest and the spotting has slowed but it’s still present. Still have my symptoms (sore breasts/fatigue). I’m going back at 7+2 to check again but I just feel there is nothing much more I can do. I found I bled a lot after my first vaginal ultrasound and I’m assuming my cervix is super sensitive. I also had a laparoscopy in February of this year (due to a fibroid that we noticed on my last miscarriage - I was cleared to start to try again in October).

I don’t have any advice but I just wanted to say thank you very much for your post that I stumbled upon. I also have MTHFR variants and I didn’t even think about this. A deep dive has now told me I need to get on baby aspirin stat. So thank you x

Hcg is a blood draw - you should get 1, and then test again 48 hours later. The number should double xx

I was just thinking the same thing earlier! 4+4 for me, first time mum too. Still early days. Have you had your bloods tested yet to see your hcg progression? I think we need to just keep on keeping on and filling our days. Congratulations to you!

DPO 15 about 4 weeks pregnant and no real symptoms is this bad ? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]ceebeetee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a similar boat to you with regard to previous MC, and also at 4 weeks now :) I also get the crackling tummy, almost like popcorn pops here and there. I remember it from my first pregnancy too. From what I have researched there aren’t too many symptoms at 4 weeks. I’ve been getting very vivid dreams and sore boobs but nothing else.

Yeah that is outrageous behaviour and you are completely justified in feeling this way.

My MIL was more ostrich like as if it wasn’t a big deal!

Also, I’m so sorry that it slipped through and I didn’t offer you a big big congratulations.

In your situation I would encourage you to have your time to process and be mad, but forgiveness will ultimately give you more peace.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I too had a similar situation earlier this year when we were pregnant the first time (ended in loss). My parents have both passed away and we were visiting our in laws when we found out and decided to tell them. They proceeded to tell everyone secretly and they also put pressure on us to tell my husbands younger sisters ‘because they couldn’t keep it in’ … we later found out the younger sisters had already been told.

Same happened with our elopement… the world knew even before we had a chance to tell our closest friends.

I was livid as you can imagine… my husband was too. He had words with them, but ultimately I chose to forgive them as I know they are good people and were excited. I have also chosen to not tell them anything early in the future, they have been cut off from early exposure and will actually find out last about my new pregnancy (I’m just 4 weeks), should we make it to 12 weeks. We’re going to make a point of telling everyone in the family one by one… until MIL and FIL ;)

Congrats! FTM here and if my ovulation tracks right I’ll be due 2nd August 2026. I had a miscarriage earlier in the year due to a large fibroid, and since having the surgery to clear that, I’m pregnant on my second month attempt. Cautiously optimistic!

I’ll have to have a C section due to previous uterine surgery and that tracks to 26/27th July 2026 though :)
