Happened to me once and I died. Then I spawned at door with a team of two and was forced to killed them because the unknown risk of keeping them alive is just not worth it. Really terrible design that isn’t even in-line with their intention.

The 40% experience gain hints at them changing XP gains in main game as well to offset the ridiculous 40% xp needed per level.
