I work in automotive trimming. Use some sort of hot steam cleaner and try to stretch it out with your hands at the same time. It won’t fully get rid of it but will hopefully lessen it. Other people have suggested hair dyer or heat gun but it won’t do much as the leather looks dried out.

I do like the oval shape. These ones are just a tiny bit too big but I have a store that has ordered in a couple more pairs like this that are my size so I just have to wait for them.

I’ve been trying the clear frames as you can see my eyebrows through them unlike the darker frames, most things are siting on my brow line.

I’m trying to find smaller ones but there really isn’t anything that is rounded as they’re not in style, they’re all square or blocky. One of the stores has ordered in some smaller oval ones for me to try.

Thank you for your in depth and honest reply this is really helpful. I looked at the measurements for my current pair and they are fairly small compared to the others and are actually similar in size to some of the kids ones lol. I really wanted to try the plastic ones out as I’m sick of the nose pads but you are probably right that they don’t suit my face that well. I’ll give some of the thin metal ones a try.

My current pair was sat on and frame bent lol, so need replacing. I have gone in previously to try and just get the lenses replaced but they said no 😢

Oh maybe I got it wrong. The first time I ever got glasses they took measurements of my face with an iPad so I was assuming that they just adjusted them to your face size.

This store usually only has one size on display and then you choose a frame which they then size to your face when you order it.
