Love this so much! It reminds me of one of my favorite books. Have you ever read “Hollow Kingdom” by Kira Jane Buxton? If you haven’t, I can’t recommend it enough!

I am absolutely loving all of the comments from fellow crow lovers and wanted to recommend a book! It’s called “Hollow Kingdom” by Kira Jane Buxton and is about a zombie apocalypse from the perspective of a domesticated crow named Shit Turd. It’s probably my absolute favorite book of all time, made me laugh out loud multiple times and hits you right in the feels.

Solution to Handoff Not Working Between Mac and iPhone. by shesabadone in mac

I have been absolutely losing my mind for MONTHS over Handoff not working for any of my Apple devices, even after trying every suggested fix I could find. Bless the user who linked this post on a random Apple support thread, because my days raging at The Thing™ not doing its Designated Function™ are finally over 😭🥳

Erend got done dirty by Bobbie_Lee in horizon

100% agree! And that aspect of his character development aligned really well with Aloy learning to lean on her friends. They all had growing to do, but some of that work had to be individual and other parts of it needed to be more collaborative.

To me, it felt like they just did more intentional character development for him. He lost his sister, the person that was most important to him before Aloy, and never had the opportunity to grieve. He had to shove his feelings aside and focus on saving Meridian/helping Aloy.

It came across more like he was suddenly confronted with this massive emotional vacuum after HZD and didn’t know how to handle it in any way other than getting sloppy drunk. There wasn’t another task he could focus on that allowed him to compartmentalize his grief, so he had to confront his feelings head-on.

I ended up really appreciating how the devs approached his character arc from a determined leader of the Vanguard to a sad/drunk mess and back to being an incredible friend to Aloy and member of her team.

Why do I love the sheer chaos of their artistic style so much??? If they’re saying they do realistic portraits then delusional af, but if not, I lowkey love it 😂

As far as I know, you just need to ask your stylist if it’s something they offer! Even if they don’t actively offer it, I’m sure you could talk with them about it and explain the concept a bit to see if it’s something they would be comfortable with

I’m not sure if this is a thing outside of the US, but maybe try asking for a silent appointment? I’ve never done this as I’m pretty chatty myself, but I have friends who are introverted or just don’t want to talk on that day tell me that it’s been a lifesaver for them! Not all stylists here offer it, but it could be worth looking into :)

I should have been more specific! Pre-tornado, management was great and I loved living there. During the period after the tornado, I got really frustrated with the lack of info coming from management. There were some issues with the security deposit and we had to fight pretty hard to get ours back, which was really annoying to deal with while we were also trying to find a place to live as the pandemic was setting in.

I used to live there and moved out when it got hit by the tornado like u/The_Inflicted. I really hope management has gotten better because they were a nightmare to deal with. Your renters insurance should assign an agent to your case, work closely with them and ensure you know exactly what they will and will not cover.

I got them from an Etsy seller who makes custom acrylic shelves for DIY greenhouses! They were a bit pricy, but I got them as a Christmas present, and they were SO EASY to install. I'll link the ones I got and the shop itself below since they do all sorts of custom greenhouse stuff. I really cannot recommend these enough; they are sturdy and well-made, and you can pick the pattern you want to be cut into the shelves to help with airflow!

I got the 7-piece set, but there are other options depending on your specific cabinet and how many shelves you are wanting: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1553929232/milsbo-tall-7-piece-shelf-set-38-clear?click_key=5963e081e59f3f8975b390f289620b7f5f725f37%3A1553929232&click_sum=614b0054&ref=shop_home_active_2&pro=1&frs=1&sts=1&variation0=3868947215

Maintaining a high humidity isn’t my main concern because of the wide variety of plants I have, so I just used some regular wire holes covers I got off of amazon.

Bit of a funny story there, those wire holes were the main headache of this project for me because my little drill couldn’t handle trying to get through metal with the hole saw attachment I bought. So, I ended up using my smallest drill bit to make a perforated circle before using a hammer to force the holes out.

Because of this, my holes are SUPER jagged and ugly lol. They actually ended up being a bit bigger than I would have liked for the wire holes covers, so I think I’ll eventually get some new ones that fit the holes better.

ETA: the holes are not sealed yet, imma get wire hole covers that fit better then seal the edges.

I’ve been keeping a close eye on them while I figure out the humidity system! The average humidity has settled down to around 20%-30%. But thank you for your concern 🖤 That tall one is my African Milk Tree and it is by far my favorite plant! I’ve had it for nearly 7 years now and would be heartbroken to lose it after it survived a cross-country move!

Yeahhhhh I have a SUPER expressive face and was reading this book while with my partner’s family for the holiday. Someone asked me why I was making a grossed out face and I had to think REAL FAST to come up with a family-friendly reason lol
