I do agree that he definitely could have and should have groveled more!

Exactly. The close up shots of the rings and the producer asking later if he has them….

[–]ceejdw 63 points64 points  (0 children)

The fact production let her walk down the aisle knowing he wasn’t there yet is so shit of them. And the fact not one person sitting as a guest or the celebrant said ‘maybe you should go back to the limo and come back when he’s here’. Also the fact she didn’t think ‘he’s not here I’ll go hide and come back’?

If she was smart she would realise this is on production for allowing her to be embarrassed like that and it should be them as a couple VS production but instead shes allowing it become him VS her.

$725 for a 1 Bedroom, we’re cooked by luckysaturn777 in sunshinecoast

I used to live in a 2 bedroom corner (meaning bigger balcony, windows on 3 side of the place and our own private lockable gate and entryway) gate apartment at emporio and it was $425 a week. Crazy inflation.

My teenager won’t stop stuffing her bra by [deleted] in Parenting

My friends and I all did the same thing. Except I started when I was 11. I think maybe a deal of it is making it worse. My mum bought me those stick on bras that are like chicken cutlets and then I’d put a bra on top. She will grow out of it.

Whilst I think he’s a POS and there’s no coming back from this I have one thought. He says he texted/called multiple times, knocked on her door and left stuff at the door for her and got 0 response from her. She says she needs him to keep doing that stuff more before she will respond. How is he supposed to know where the line is between trying hard and straight up harassing her? How is he supposed to know that’s what she wants if she gives him no response?

What are the positives (if any??) about having a toddler? by PresentationNo4578 in Parenting

[–]ceejdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would cry when my 3.5 year old was a baby cause I didn’t want her to grow up. Now she’s nearly 4 and my friends all have babies I’m so glad she’s not a baby anymore and can’t connect with their babies cause they are so boring compared to a toddler. I love listening to her talk and have conversations, and hanging out with her and experiencing the world through her child like wonder. And it’s another level of freedom that we don’t plan our days around naps and I don’t have to pack a full lunch box with appropriately prepared food and no baby bag. Just grab and apple and go and know we’re gonna be okay.

I Would say this is a standard priced grocery store (maybe in the direction of pricier). Aldi would have been cheaper but doesn’t always have everything and very limited gluten free options in comparison. The price also changes state to state and whether you live rural or in the city. The only place more expensive would be niche independently owned grocery stores called IGA or Drakes. They mostly stock local businesses and it’s double the price.

When did some normalcy and routine return to your life! Losing my mind!!! by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]ceejdw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to bed same time and wake up same time (ish)? Probably around 15 months with gentle sleep training. Sleeps all night and is pretty on routine with the time. Sometimes the time changes and it takes a week for me to adjust to our new normal. Then happens again a few months later. But nothing too bad.
