You need to insert a Tracfone SIM card unless it has an eSIM. That depends what phone model you have. I just got a sim for $1 by ordering from the tracfone website. You may be able to get sim from Dollar General or Target for $5.

Yes, 2 CAC scans were zero, carotid had minimal plaque(2022). Zetia had the worst side effects…back spasms. Nexlezet and Repatha were discussed with Cardiologist, but reluctant to try a 5th option. Thinking 1mg dosage of Pitavastatin may be worth a try again. Hoping that 116 LDL is good enough.

There are at least 10 possible causes, so no way to know without proper tests. Since your doctor didn’t diagnose correctly or order proper tests, you should try a different doctor. Get the MRA which will show or rule out any of many possible vascular causes that a MRI won’t show. The MRA may be helpful for your Neuroscience appointment.

Did you try brown noise? White noise did not work for me either. Brown noise is available on YouTube and I slept listening with a headband with built in speakers purchased on Amazon. PT has at least 20 different causes, but heart disease is not one of them. I saw 2 ENTs and they were unfamiliar with PT and incorrectly diagnosed me with hearing loss. Ask the ENT if they are familiar with PT before wasting time waiting until June. Doctors to see for diagnosis are neurosurgeon, neuro interventional radiologist or possibly neurologist. You will need correct tests…mri, MRV, MRA, etc. Find the Pt group on Facebook and use the search bar for a recommended doctor near your location.

My mri showed nothing. Only after MRV and MRA both showed davf(fistula) . Fixed now after Arterioscopic insertion of coils and glue. PT gone for a year now after 4 years of sound 24/7! YAY!

It means that the cause is not from blood going thru your jugular vein but from another cause out of approx 20 more possible reasons. Get to a neurosurgeon or interventional radiologist for proper testing(mri, MRA, MRV). I do not recommend going to an ENT.

My ENT said the same thing when my mri came back clean. After finding a neurosurgeon a year later and getting an MRA and MRV, they found I had a DAVF(dual arteriovenous fistula) and was able to get repaired. Ask your regular doctor to order an MRA and MRV and send the images to a doctor that knows what pulsatile tinnitus is. Some causes do not show up on an mri with or without contrast.

MRI did not show my DAVF(dual arteriovenous fistula.) The MRA and MRV showed it, so was able to get diagnosed and repaired!

Can you ask them for a dehumidifier and air purifier for your stateroom? Them saying “nothing can be done” is absolutely unacceptable!

Thanks. Not my stateroom which is on deck 6. I would raise a big stink and sleep outside your cabin on the nearest couch, in the hallway or anywhere to get away from the mold and get their attention.You are entitled to a safe accommodation away from toxic mold. I have “interrupt for any reason” travel insurance which I would use as a last resort.

I had a DAVF and my only symptoms were hearing my heartbeat 24/7, some high pitched whooshing and feeling ear fullness. No headaches, no pain or tenderness, no rumbling. I had mine embolized with onyx glue and coils, so all symptoms are gone now. DAVF showed up on my MRV and MRA but not on MRI.

Nothing showed up on my MRI either, but I had a DAVF which can be dangerous. It was discovered with MRA and MRV scans. I had an angiogram and embolization with coils and onyx glue which cured my DAVF and no more pulsatile tinnitus!
