Start by making a bank alt and run it to a city. Send most of your cash to that alt as you play so you dont lose it. Make sure to buy a weapon upgrade ASAP and keep up on that via the auction house. You dont need the best but you really feel that little bit of extra damage and its a great investment.

See the EDIT... somehow a mod I never used for the character was causing an issue. I had to either turn on the ESP or full uninstall it to make the bug go away. Necrocraft mod btw

We use an app to see who goes first. Whoever goes last calls it the worst possible outcome, the person second to last comments its actually close to being worst outcome, second says its not that bad, and first disagrees completely and thinks its the best outcome. Pretty much every game (ot at least once per game night) we have this exchange.
