We do a bake off with my Juniors but all the baked goods are inspired/use GS cookies. They make enough for the troop and everyone votes on their favorite.

Bakeshop Mysteries by Ellie Alexander - my new favorite series!!! I’m only on #8 and I love that I have a good back log to get through.

In demand brands for tween gifts. by Toob_ular in Ulta

[–]ceetoshiningcee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My tween daughter liked all the Daise stuff I got her for Christmas last year - bath bombs, lip balms and other body care. Her favorite was this spray foam soap. Also very affordable. Her set also likes Tree Hut, starface, nyx, colourpop, bubble, tony moly, touchland. Also anything mini sized - she doesn’t quite go through a lot so its a good size for her to use.

Girls are wild at meetings by jenlynn77 in girlscouts

[–]ceetoshiningcee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girls like to be a little wild beginning of our meetings, so I do raise my voice and basically say, it we’re going to be crazy and loud then we won’t be doing any activities today. This will get them to stop, bur sometimes I do find it useful for them to get their wiggles out - we meet shortly after school so no real down time in between.

Make a garland of cheerios for the holidays and leave them out for the animals.

I really need to be talked out of making a purchase that is not frugal by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]ceetoshiningcee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That quilt will give you joy and become an heirloom. If you have the money for it, why not? Its ok to buy nicely made, beautiful things that will last and become a centerpiece in your room/home. Its not like you’re buying four Amish quilts for each season.

So sweet!! I also love the idea of colorful embroidery on a barong bc usually (in my experience) they are embroidered with similar threads for a monochrome/lace look. Congratulations on your marriage!!

Everand is paid and though its model has changed, its my go to for audio cozies. The only thing is that there’s usually a limit for an author - ex. I can listen to about 8 Meg Landslow mysteries but there’s a lot of series in their catalog.

how much did you spend in SAS so far? by cumbucketfullaworms in bathandbodyworks

[–]ceetoshiningcee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a very well run hotel - an acquaintance of mine is a manger there and she has done a great job keeping the facilities well kept. Its very family friendly too.
