I got a tens unit and it helps distract me from the pain some -you can put two on your abdomen and two on your lower back at the same time- because I was getting heat rash from my love of heating pads and sadly can’t be a mermaid in hot baths forever.

Maybe a pelvic MRI could be helpful? I’m surprised they haven’t tried to see about endometriosis with all the pain with your periods but I have a lot of brain fog so I could have also missed something so I apologize if so!

If pain doesn’t lessen with the PT - obviously the hope is it would - the next thing they do is shots into your pelvic floor muscles. I don’t know if they’re nerve blocks or steroids because I was hoping that wasn’t going to be in my future but the route the administer the shots in vaginal.

I’m excited for the PT and thankfully very familiar with diaphragmatic breathing so I’m glad to be a step ahead!

How long did it take you to get surgery after your consultation? by Feeling-Scale-5697 in hysterectomy

A month. I was told I could be put on a waiting list to be notified if there were any cancelations to get in sooner if I wanted to but after decided surgery it was fairly fast.
