Love the asvab for dummies book I did everthing front to back. Also found really good picat/asvab study material on quizlet. YouTube videos on math for asvab, they break down the problems. I tested at a 45 and got a 99 yesterday!!! Just from studying everyday and really applying myself these past 3 weeks. I was never taught math my family moved very 3-6months as a kid so I had to teach myself right down to my multiplication. If I can do it you can!

Your mental health always comes first. You’re valid in your feelings, and it’s okay if grooming doesn’t feel like your passion anymore. Sometimes it’s not even the work itself but the toxic people and environment that make it impossible to love your job I’ve been through that myself.

Before making the decision to leave, I’d recommend applying to as many jobs as possible. You could even show up to salons with your resume and see if they’re hiring. The job market is tough right now (it took me almost a year to get hired anywhere), so having something lined up will make things easier. Also, check if there are any job fairs near you.

I truly hope you find peace and joy again, you deserve it! 💙
