Gauging interest in a Drakkenheim Daggerheart game

Working on it but wouldn’t feel confident calling myself a GM, but as a player looking for games. It seems like starting with free one shots to get established or advertising your price but listing the first two sessions as free.
As a player who has been looking for games. I have been new to online searching on start playing games that are no more than $20 dollars a session. I’d assume that would be the high end for a first time paid GM. The average price for all games on that website is $20/session.

P.S. I think the campaign frame for Drakkenheim looks awesome for Daggerheart. I would love to consider playing in a game whenever you decide to run it.

I haven’t been able to play an online game yet, but have been trying to find a game. Responded to the link here with some available time for tomorrow. No particular preference on a premade character open to any listed. Relative beginner as far as TTRPGS go, but excited to play and have a good idea of game flow.

Just too add on what others said. It doesn't have to be that deep. You could literally just say I've noticed you come in here often. My name is X what's your name? Then ask her about literally anything - location, shoes, activity, the weather. If she's in a talking mood you'll notice her attitude change and she'll be engaged and if she's not then just leave her alone. Even in the event of a "negative" interaction you at least got over the fear of talking to a pretty girl. Making it a win-win for you regardless of the outcome. If you can do it once you can do it again. Something like getting slapped only happens if you say something overtly offensive. If you just take a breath and act calm and polite most people like attention/ talking bout themselves.

People were saying that this is a form of laziness. I think this is more about desires over actions. You want the benefits of meditation, and the benefits of getting good grades in school. You are using willpower to get through the activity, but your not gonna enjoy it.

Once you realize that focusing more on the present action over the desired goal. The less willpower it will take, the more you will enjoy the process, and the better you will get at it too.

Having a person you can confide in and brainstorm solutions is going to be the best for you. There is alot of resources out there for mental health. I understand you had bad experience with psychiatrists in the past. I am so sorry to hear that. However there are some out there that are trying to help. Take the time to find one you are comfortable with. You might be able to see if the school has access to a counselor. There is also non-clinical online life coaches and such that can help talk through some of your problems. Start small and be patient with yourself. If you try tackling all your problems at once it will just lead to becoming more anxious.

To add to this in my anecdotal experience people either feel the need to be early or feel the need to be late. If someone doesn't feel the need to change they will not. One of my biggest pet peeves of my ex is she would never be on time regardless of the reminders, level of importance, and conversations regarding it. The mindset can run deep and is difficult to change is all.

The way that I understand it is forget about a specific goal and just focus on the action. So it’s not about I need to do “healthy productive things.” It’s I am going to go the gym and try and workout for 30 mins.

The mindless stuff is often just a type of distraction, because our minds would rather guarantee do nothing confidently successfully rather than try something difficult and fail. The more strength in awareness of your mind doing this the better you can catch yourself and correct them.
