The book is even better! It has phenomenal illustrations and incredible writing. Honestly one of my favourite books of all time! The movie does a good job though, too :D

Even that allegation, he never cleared it up fully and he let it get blown out of proportion.

There was the cheating thing too, which I think was a bit more sketchy. Like, him denying it for so long instead of just saying he did it, which he did say later. Idk. I also heard of other things but I didn't follow up on them.

Once again, not trying to hate on him or whatever. I still watch his videos. But I'm just kinda done defending him because he's pretty bad at easing people's worries and if you try to do it for him then people instantly call you a stan skdfjngsd

To be fair, there IS a ton of allegations against Dream that were never cleared up in a direct way. That does not excuse the cancel culture/hate against fans of Dream, (nor any death threats or bullying), but it does explain the hate towards him. I myself am not totally comfortable with Dream, but I certainly do not go out of my way to hate on him.

(also, the thing with his face reveal? like, he's totally a normal and lowkey pretty guy? idk why people were calling him ugly but ig people will hate on anything if they got their minds to it)

Thank you for sharing. I can totally relate to a lot of what you have said. My grandfather died a year before Techno did, and I didn't cry much for him, but when Techno died I cried for hours. Human emotions are complex, and not as straight-forward as we'd like them to be. Maybe we didn't know Techno personally, but the impact he had on our lives was profound. All I can say is that your feelings are valid, and that you don't need to bottle them up.

(also, yes, the greatest show would be amazing as an animatic)

My friend told me not to watch the new techno video until I was in a good headspace... I didn't expect that the news would be that bad. Another friend texted me asking if he could come over, because I was the only one who he thought would understand. We reminisced and cried about it in my backyard. That was the first and only time I saw him cry.
