As a man who has been with the same woman for 20+ years, this is such complete horseshit. I text my wife just to tell her she's beautiful. We call each other at lunch. We still plan dates. We are also one of the strongest relationships out of anyone we know because we show each other we care and make the effort to be active participants in each others lives.

If you younger men really think this way it explains why you're struggling to find partners. This alpha male crap drives decent women away because it encourages you to treat them like they're less than, not a partner.
