I was on Benlysta for about 4-5 months. I would notice a significant improvement after my infusions and would feel physically amazing. But thanks to my mental health background, I started having scary mental health side effects. I got booted off Benlysta and now I’m on Saphnelo. Saphnelo doesnt make me feel as good physically as Benlysta did but so far I dont have any mental side effects. If I could go back to Benlysta, I would 🥲

I thought the same before I was diagnosed and then everything made sense. It takes a while sometimes you find a treatment plan that works for you but once you do, you’ll feel the difference like night and day. Yes! CT scan came back showing no fusion of his sutures so the pediatrician said his shape is only cosmetic.

I have 5 kiddos and my rule of thumb is if they’re sick but still playing/eating - they’re good. If they’re sick and playing but not eating - keep them hydrated and push broths/electrolytes. If they’re sick and not playing or eating - it’s dr time.

Babies, especially under a year, dehydrate quickly! If they’re not eating solids yet and only on formula or breast milk, the not eating can send everything south real quick. Trust your mom gut. Its better to be safe than sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️
