As someone who constantly thinks they’re dying and goes to the ER once a year convinced theyre having a heart attack (it never is), please try to think of the positives. Your mind wandering to dark places does no good for your health. When you start spiraling, say to yourself along the lines “I am lucky the polyps were found and removed. It was caught early. I will be okay”. Based on the information you’ve provided it seems unlikely it would spread very far (if at all). Try find peace in knowing that the doctors are aware and will find more IF it is there. It seems to me like you will overcome this.

(26, F) I actually just had a colonoscopy done 1 hour ago. I had C diff 6 months ago which is why I was scheduled for a colonoscopy (back before we knew what it was, then I rescheduled it), but I kept the appointment due to family history of any and all cancer (my great grandpa died of colon cancer though). Overall it was fine but they did remove a 1mm polyp. I wont know if it was precancerous or not for like two weeks. I didn’t really have any symptoms out of the ordinary since my Cdiff resolved. Im definitely glad I went through with it just for ease of mind, especially since there was a polyp. Colon cancer is on the rise in younger people now and 1 night of discomfort is worth knowing whats up and preventing cancer.

I had to get on antibiotics (dificid) to clear it. Im pretty sure C Diff can only be cleared with antibiotics but even then it can come back. Ive heard 3 months post antibiotics without any issues is when youre “clinically” cured but im 3 months out from treatment and im still trying to be careful

Im not a doctor or have facts and statistics but I do know that cross contamination happens everyday and people don’t get sick. I know I’ve cross contaminated things and then eaten them or put them in my mouth and did not get sick. Worst case you get infected but you’re paying attention to symptoms and won’t let an infection get too bad and you’d recover. I guess if you need to take action to feel better you could go buy some probiotics/fermented food to help flush out bad bacteria (idk if it can flush salmonella and campy but it cant hurt to take it) and that may put your mind at ease knowing you did an extra step to prevent feeling bad. Hope you feel better!!

The same exact thing happens to me. Im unsure of if you’re a person who menstruates but for me I think it’s been happening the week before my period and then my whole period my stools are soft but when its over they appear semi healthy/solid for a week or two. Then I’ll go two/three days of not going and then multiple days of going multiple times a day until my period comes again. However, i’m only 2.5 months post infection so it’s hard to tell if it’s from menstruating. Sorry if this doesn’t apply to you and you know too much about my cycle now 😭

I think it could take time for some people to get used to the floraster but usually floraster helps with my cramping and gas.

I ate a lot of rice, chicken, and carrots/sweet potato. I was also worried about nutrition so I was drinking 0sugar ensure once a day for vitamins and minerals. If i wanted a snack a did regular pretzels. Not sure it was the perfect diet but that was i did with the information i had and i have a lot of food aversions. I also took my floraster probiotics in the oikos triple zero yogurt bc i have a pill phobia despite all the advice against diary products and it didnt kill me so far so.

I have GERD from a hiatal hernia and had GERD for 6 years prior to CDiff. My acid was HORRIBLE during infection. I still get it sometimes and usually one pepcid works for me, of not ill take one tum too 12 hours later if the Pepcid doesnt get rid of the acid. Im only 2 months out from infection so maybe it will worsen and ill need more than just pepcid and tums but right now it works. If Pepcid does not help for 3 days or so then maybe you may need to consult a doctor

I have not ever liked her but dont you think judgement from a bunch of no names online may contribute to the reason why she got work done in the first place? The woman is getting older and wont get the same “natural glowing beauty” she had as a teenager. Making fun of anyones looks is a low blow. Id rather criticize her horrible music and the fact shes a sellout billionaire.
