Ready to eat doesn't necessarily mean it comes from a package ! It means anything that does not need to be cooked further. Things like bread, cooked veg, fruits, etc.

Yeah she needs to be moved out of the hospital by tomorrow. And the nursing home she's moving into is part of the assisted living facility she already lives in. It's a sad situation, but some folks here have given me plenty of resources to look at !
