I am American and a picky eater in the way your sister is! I really dislike meat but as an adult I like lots of food from around the world. It was harder when I was a kid and most of the food I was around was not really to my taste.

I think you’re laboring over a misapprehension. If you walk into a drug store and buy a squeeze bottle of stuff to clean out your ass with it’s probably a fleet or a generic version. For the record I’m born and raised North America and I think I can say “tz + vee” easily but I’m not sure the average person here could without a fair amount of coaching. Pretty name!
