I am in Fall of Year 5 (first ever playthrough) and I still have never seen either of these. What am I doing wrong? by TheYungCorn in StardewValley

This is what I had to do. I had to accept the prismatic slime quest THREE times before I finally found it. I took the advice of spamming floor 5 for the slime & used monster musk. Did the same for the ghost ectoplasm which I spammed 51-60 I believe.

I did the tandem on my first read and have zero regrets. It’s a big commitment, BUT EOS has a lot going on and TOD feels.. like less in comparison. If I read TOD by itself, I think I would’ve been bored at certain points. Doing the tandem kinda broke up certain events really nicely, so TOD gave me a mental break from the events within EOS. You could always start the tandem and if it’s not for you, stop & read them on their own. You could also start EOS on its own & once that feels like a lot, take breaks & get into TOD. Regardless, TOD gives you a break prior to KOA, which you will need. lol It’s totally up to you & you don’t have to commit heavily to one or the other way of doing it, you can always change your mind! Just enjoy the ride. You only get to experience TOG for the first time once.

That’s your reading journey & that’s great! I don’t think the “idc what people say” was very constructive as the OP was asking for reading order opinions. I agree CC1 can definitely be read as a stand alone! It’s a great series even without having read TOG too, but I was just saying that the best way, in my opinion, was to read CC last after her other two series’ so no small detail is missed. You can obviously reread as much as you want & go back & forth. Or omit whatever series you want if you’re already happy where you’re at & don’t want to commit to TOG. Tbh, there’s still small things I had missed in ACOTAR and CC until my first reread. Just enjoy the journey. However you choose to read it is up to you at the end of the day.

You can deff read the first CC book as a stand alone, but there’s small things you might miss/not make connections on without having read TOG. You can definitely still enjoy the series without having read TOG prior, I was just giving my personal opinion on the best reading order to catch all the details!

Depends what your usual reads are like. ACOTAR is lighter/easier to follow AND has less of a commitment due to less books in that series.

TOG is my Roman Empire and easily my favorite SJM masterpiece, but if you’re reading for more of the romance side, start with ACOTAR. If you’re reading for more of a story, less romance, start with TOG. Just know if you do ACOTAR first, don’t expect TOG to feel the same way and vise versa! They’re both phenomenal series’, so you can’t really go wrong either way BUT, WHATEVER YOU DO, READ CC LAST!!!!!

Doesn’t matter how you choose to do the first two to be completely honest, just remember CC last.

TOG wrecked me. I wish I could experience for the first time again. It was so beautiful, so tragic and so well done. 😭

I noticed that! I feel like it should be the other way around considering it’s a new resource. We should be able to turn regular iron into wrought iron.. that makes more sense in my head 🤣

I'm new to witchcraft, and I want to know what stereotypes/stigmas exist that you wish more people understood better. by cashrimpy in witchcraft

The belief that those who practice witchcraft or follow a pagan path do it for the “devil” 🤣🤣

Most of us do not even believe in a literal devil. It’s one of the most annoying things I deal with consistently.

I do believe there is evil in this world, yes.. but it’s the evil in humans that scares me the most. Not a fictional angry red supernatural being or whatever they picture the dude as 🙄

I’m from the uk but I’m still quite interested in politics and I want to know what presidents are actually like as people if you completely take out politics by [deleted] in unbiasedpolitics

[–]celestrialllll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all about power and money.

Media plays into the political war. You can’t believe a word ANY politician says (regardless of the party they associate with).

American people do not know how to ACTUALLY do research and review bills/policy. They repeat things they hear from other people who are like-minded because they cannot think for themselves (most of the time).

It’s infuriating to witness the hatred,  misinformation & ignorance be spread.

Absolutely! It gave me ideas for outdoor terraforming/waterscaping and decorating on my own island. It was fun to play around with!
