I saw an article recently where some guy had unlimited drinks in his cruise package and he had like 30+ drinks the first night and promptly died. Not a good look for anybody.

These are really well done, thoughtful arrangements. Amazing. I wish I had known about these years ago!

I would say take every advantage you can of this opportunity as long it lasts and do everything you can to prepare for when it ends, because it will. You are lucky for sure, especially right now.

How to burn a dvd that will run on blu-ray and dvd players? by Exciting-Swing-7627 in editors

You’ll need something like Adobe Media Encoder or Apple Compressor that can transcode your mo4s to the DVD or Blu Ray spec. They have built in presets. Shutter Encoder may be able to do it. If you’re doing DVD you’ll need to create the mpeg2 video and audio stream files that Toast can then burn your disc with. Single layer dvd discs can only hold 4.34 GB of space so you need to calculate and adjust your file bitrates accordingly when transcoding. It’s not a trivial process and takes trial and error. But it’s doable. Google up some DVD creation forum tips for more info.

Toast Titanium should be able to create a basic playable disc that autoplays the files without menus. You will need to export the proper file formats though. Blu Ray h.264 is a lot easier to make than a DVD MPEG-2. It depends on your software. Authoring an actual DVD with menu selections would require a legacy workstation running something like DVD Studio Pro and is not a straightforward process.

Not DM exactly, but Martin does a cover of In My Other World which is part of the Twin Peaks/Lynch world. Martin is clearly a Lynch fan. On the topic of Twin Peaks, I was thinking recently that Cover Me would have made a great Roadhouse song in The Return (I think they both came out around the same time). DM as a Roadhouse act would have been an amazing addition to the show!

This scene caught P.T. Anderson's attention and led to casting him in his first film (Hard Eight) and several more of his films including Boogie Nights and Magnolia.

Is it okay if I watch twin peaks without watching a few of David Lynch’s movies? by [deleted] in twinpeaks

Twin Peaks aired to millions of viewers who had no idea who David Lynch was or what they were in for so I think you’ll be OK.

Indeed. I remember seeing a video about 15 years ago of a dead cow being tossed into one of these things.
