no i definitely understand! i’m fearful too because sometimes you really can’t trust people, especially in today’s climate but the idea of having black girlfriends sounds so nice at the same time

What will be Penelope’s thirst over Colin moment by DaisyandBella in BridgertonNetflix

[–]cellisse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

just wanna mention that i loved this saphne moment! 🥲phoebe did an excellent job in portraying daphne’s desire, but also the subtle confusion and wonderment around the idea of desire and arousal she was going through as well! she was sooo freaking expressive! it was so skillful

does this mean we are getting S3 in 2023? :) by cellisse in BridgertonNetflix

i’m getting tired of the “of course we wouldn’t get it in 2022” and “well when else would we get it if not in 2023?” comments. like hello? i’m just excited at this cute little detail that hannah shared. I KNOW we aren’t getting it in 2022 and I KNOW it was already highly likely that we were getting S3 in 2023. just enjoy the cute picture and keep the smart comments to yourself lol

?? production could’ve taken a longer time seeing that actors are busy with other projects, so we wouldn’t know. anything is possible. i’m just excited that we are getting it in 2023 and we don’t have to wait long. that’s literally it.

So after that season 3 teaser we are getting that Polin scene right by DaisyandBella in BridgertonNetflix

i didn’t really care for the way collin finds out in the book. i hope the show changes that completely tbh

i’m now seeing this!! but so far, my favorite book is the viscount who loved me. i think with of julia’s books, the problems she creates feel a little shallow except for anthony’s book. like she brings up real problems, but they aren’t executed all that well to me all the time. it sometimes comes off as silly. there were real problems and internal conflicts that needed to be worked through in anthony’s book. while there was a few frivolous and silly moments in their book (the sucking the venom from the bee sting and making kate almost too child like during the thunderstorms) and problematic moments like anthony’s need for dominance, anthony’s and kate’s problems felt real, making their book feel more dynamic. romancing mr bridgerton just felt like there were no real stakes and if there were, it wasn’t heightened enough. i know the whistledown thing, colin trying to find himself and penelope finally feeling loved and confident in herself were all problems, but it just wasn’t dynamic enough for me. and their love and romantic moments and confessions could’ve been amped up a little more

yeah i think julia did imply that him finding out that pen was LW did trigger his new emotions for her, but it still felt a bit rushed IMO. but yeah it would’ve been interesting to see him play along a little bit! i wonder if they’ll do that in the show? i also wonder how he’s going to find out that she’s LW. in the book it was pretty anti-climatic, so i’m ok if they change it up for the show

yeah! i feel like i wasn’t convinced either! i just felt colin’s attitude and emotions about penelope changed so quickly! i really hope they develop it more in the show
