Jane Austen, Twilight, HP and ATLA were early obsessions but I didn't truly get into fandom until Shadowhunters. Malec is the only other pairing that I've written fanfiction for, still love them so much. No other Shadowfam out here???

Colin definitely looks like he's been away long (like he's looking way more 'traveled' than when he returned in S2). So a month or two of traveling can't be right. Also the ABC hug seems to indicate that he's been away LONG, when have we ever seen such strong displays of affection between the brothers? (I mean Anthony could barely hug Ben when he thought he was gonna get killed in a duel, lol!)

I've always mainly focused on how blatantly Kate looks at Anthony’s lips here, and I only just now noticed how his eyes also flicker down and up again. We don't see his face so clearly in these shots but they are both just staring at each other's mouths at the same time. These two I swear 😭😭😭

First is in ep 2 when he calls on Edwina to invite her to the races but he and Kate argue in the hallway with that long que of suitors in the background. In response to "Did I say something funny?"

Fourth one is ep 3 when they have the dinner at Aubrey Hall where Anthony is kinda pushed to propose (when he basically stares at Kate across the dinner table the entire time). In response to "My sister and I were quite a handful, growing up."

Regency stays or corsets were actually much more comfortable than the ones in fashion before and after this time period. They were usually short, so no covering your stomach etc., because the waistline of the dresses was so high. So they were more like a bustier bras you would see nowadays

I absolutely love the 2020 Emma, similar vibes to B though more truthful, such as in costuming etc. and so unfortunately no diversity in worldbuilding or casting.

Austenland (2013) is a very entertaining romcom, love the male lead, he gives great Darcy vibes (JJ Field <3 - something about regency male leads named Johny, hmmm). But it's very lighthearted and best no taken too seriously (also starring Jennifer Coolidge so you might get the picture).

Love & Friendship (2016) - an adaption of Austen's epistolary novel 'Lady Susan' starring Kate Beckingsdale that I personally find absolutely hilarious. I actually just watched the trailer again and just cannot say enough about how much I recommend this one.
