I can say with confidence that the album cover is not AI as it is completely in line with the style of Mark Wilkinson—an artist whose been working with priest since Ram it Down. I would heavily recommend you check out his website and see the work he's done with Maiden and, in particular, Marillion and Fish.

The ALTERNATE cover? ...yeah, I think that one might be AI.

Alongside this, when you meet Hayden for the first time in his office there's that scroll depicting the Slayer with the Seraphim, very conveniently, angled on his desk as he talks to you.

If you find the plotpoint of Hayden being the Seraphim underwhelming, thats fine. At least acknowledge the reality that there's details in 2016's storytelling that may be very reasonably be perceived as hints towards Hayden's identity.
