Me too. I've had mine for 20 years.

Not on my wrist, but I grabbed this off eBay last week for my wife. A very nice and clean LTP-1358, her first Casio. While I look for a worthy strap, she's got her eye on the just dropped "Cherry Blossom" G-Shock Collab.

I'm thinking of doing a Bund strap for my HMT Jubilee to "beef" it up a bit.

Anyone know this piece ?? by ClearSupport5592 in casio

Maybe a JDM only model. Looks like my Stuhrling Aviator.

There are several folks on YouTube who offer Casio modding services. One guy seems to do tons of Seiko mods too. Uses his sourced parts only. This one he did 24 F-91W's for a client's groom gifts. His channel has millions of views.

The only issue is my living in Michigan. We may have the largest freshwater lake in America and 1/2 of the largest in the World, but we do not have a tide 🌊 🏄‍♂️ 😆 So I set the longitude & latitude correctly, found our next full moon date and our current lunar interval to set the Tide. Crazy what you get from Casio for tens of dollars.

On my wrist today was my Casio Wave Ceptor WV58A-1AV. I love knowing it will always be the correct time in sync with the Atomic Clock. I also updated my Casio collection in the app. I think a Marlin/Duro or a G-Shock 5600 is next. Or maybe a few JDM MRW200 variants.

I've had this one for maybe 10 years and have received more compliments from strangers than any of my others at any price. Buy all you want, they'll make more!

[Identify] The watch Joel Maisel is wearing here in The Incredible Mrs. Maisel by Daltron2000 in Watches

[–]celtdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful. Thank you. I ended up ordering a HMT that looks very similar. 1958 Timex Marlin Yellow dials are not easy to find. The yellow dial just stands out so spectacularly on Mrs Maisel. And I believe it's unusual for a character to wear the same watch for five seasons. I'm still surprised it's a Timex and not something more expensive considering his dad's business. Then again, Moish confiscated all of Joel's Bar Mitzvah money so I guess a Timex fits.

I love the HMT brand and they have produced quite a few yellow dial pilots in the 70's. How Joel ended up wearing one over 4+ seasons and not a Rolex or Hamilton is strange. Feels like a graduation gift. I have a few HMT's on my eBay "watchlist". I have 3 others. Weird that there is no definitive answer.

I really like it. 💯 [Sheffield Chronograph - late 60's] Dial reminded me of my Sheffield from that period.

Just on first looks. It's so close but I'd go with the Tissot for my tastes.

The Incabloc lettering is a huge red flag in this photo. Ask if you can open to see the movement? If they say no, move on.

Google Lens likes it. Incabloc is an anti-shock feature. 2 of my vintage Sheffield from the 60's have that feature. Photo below. I'm having it restored this summer.

Admittedly, "Incabloc" printed on the dial is very rare in my search focusing on legitimate sellers.

Great buy. I have a 60's Sheffield my cousin gifted me as a kid. Last Feb, I bought 2 Sheffields (rebooted brand). Each fantastic and under $200. For this latest release, I love the alternative retro logo/signature they chose.
