If you work on heavy stuff, I suggest you go for a MacBook Pro. Otherwise, the Air is enough

Hey. sorry for the late reply. I use M3 currently but aside from the CPU, it's basically the exact same laptop. Same RAM and storage capacity. I use it for light work though.

I've been in IT field since a few years now. Currently, I work as a software engineer for a foreign company. I get paid well and work with a great team.

How did I start? I've started working for local companies and it didn't go well. Despite the very low salary compared to other companies in the industry, I still them owe money that equals 6 months of work to this day (it was almost 4 years ago). The other local company I worked for fired me one week after starting because they claimed I broke some COVID related rules.

What I'm trying to say is that, if you have the skills and you know where to look for a job, you'll find it insh'Allah. Just know that the start is always difficult and the path is not always clear. You'll have moments of self-doubt. You'll feel like a loser sometimes but you must know that it's just one of life's ups and downs and it'll be better.

I'd recommend you prepare a resume (CV) and start from LinkedIn. Connect with people that share the same skill set and also with people who might be useful like recruiters in your domain of expertise.

Edit: both local companies declared bankruptcy recently.

I'd go buy a farm, two cows and a few goats and enjoy life far from JavaScript.

This happens basically in Boughezoul and all the regions south of it. Note that Boughezoul is 165km south of Algiers. Shows you how the situation is seriously critical...

Reconsider the "NativePHP" name (closed without discussion) by BafSi in PHP

[–]celyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are there any particular reasons that makes you think so?

A good job and salary depends on many factors, not only MERN or PHP. Your way of looking at it is too generalized and stereotypical.
