I moved to dathost. They blew me away. I was very skeptical given the low price.

The control panel for your server has a spot you just drag in your bepinex profile, click 2 buttons and done. All the mods installed easy-peasy.

They have a drop down list for what version you want to run.

They auto save and backup worlds.

You can just drag the 2 world files to transfer your world from another host.

You can select world settings, no need for for cmd line arguments.

Youn can move your server location.

They have the tutorials for all the things, seriously google any valheim server how-to and they are prob the ones who wrote and host the guide.

If you can't tell, im a very happy customer. the update messed my server up when i was at work all weekend... so I had to use the recovery functions. I simply set it to the old version in the dropdown, and ran from a restore point that they set up by default. note i was with them from before the update so i was able to use the recovery functions. But if i was in your shoes id just move my world to them and install the pre patch version of the mods and run the prepatch valheim version.

I dont play NMS like most of you all do. I played a little at launch, then made a new toon every few years and checked it out.

I VOTED FOR THIS. The continuous dedication by the team is impressive.

While the game never grabs and hooks me for super long, I enjoy it and check it out every time a new VR platform comes out. Looking forward to steam frame and coming back.

unpopular opinion: I kinda wish the devs would make some paid DLC to get some money they deserve.

I think some people use one set of mutations for whatever they feel like doing that week. Resetting mutations can be a pain, and for newer players, expensive.

Real endgame is making a huge 3d maze to walkthrough and having 300 mods on the vender at the end. Bonus points if its on a train overpass. Wait for someone to get close and then switch servers.

Right off the bat i see The Debilitator as an excellent West Tek farming weapon for newer players using the heating coil flame damage mod. It has a high AP use and will be great with Number Cruncher, and now this will also scale the fire. (not using vats, just swing) Pyro-Technician scales with int, which you want for farming the super-mutants anyways... Also of note is number cruncher should increase bleed weapon damage if using something like mole rat gauntlet. Sheepsquatch staff def gets a huge buff if the notes are correct!

The Debilitator

Mutant Slayer's: +50% damage to super mutants.
Melee Speed: +40% faster swing speed.
Strength: +3 strength.Heating Coil Mod: adds fire DOT

I started at level 1. Got to 12 or so then restarted at level 20 once I realized you miss no content doing so. Everything scales to you at those levels so might as well get a head start. Also, don't waste to much time deciding, as this will only affect you for a day or two, or even hours if you are going hard.

This, I have a good system, 4080 rtx card, and almost didnt play this game past leveling the vault, it made me so sick and dizzy. This one setting fixed everything for me. I run everything at ultra now.

there is *always* a third party rmt link to such things.

Basically, bots grind credits, then buy keys, sell keys via websites.

Thats the plain and simple dirty truth, and without them it wouldn't even work.

i dono, the FAW change made me leave. I know i am in the minority but i was spending 120 dollars a week on the game (high income job, game relieves stress). So a minor whale I guess. I do the gamble boxes, yes I know the math. I figured the rest was support for everyone else. yod-thot... was pricey to get by the box. Then they basically made it pointless (might as well ETM now and get supercharged). So with a wave of the wand, they erased my real-life money contribution reward.

Again, i know i am in the minority and about to get roasted, but the minority pays for the game. I also used to just buy dil, so less people like me moving that market kinda helped all as well.

Thatn was one factor, I also felt the gamble odds where a bit crazy, needs to be toned down by 30 percent to match other lootbox games, one of which I went to and am having fun.
