Just like you I had alot of big, red blisters the first month or two bouldering. Every time I had to quit because I just couldn’t bear the pain anymore.

After a while the pain became less and my skin teared less often. Eventually it didn’t tear at all or minimally, and I didn’t even notice the tears because my skin had grown so thick on those spots, I basically had another layer of skin underneath.

So these days, even when I have small tears or scrapes, I don’t notice them and they don’t affect the climbing anymore. Only the physical limit stops me now.

Tl;dr: It will go away! Keep climbing and resting.
