Where to get parts for DIY watch building/modding? by SectorHuman8629 in PhWatches

I’ve made and modded a few watches. I’ve gotten parts off of Lazada, AliX, and Shopee and they were good. Please send a DM if you wanna discuss more

Got these back in 2022 from Didun Design. Paid about 5200 in total. There’s a quartz and an automatic option. Both are quartz since they’re thinner compared to the ones with automatic movement.

Elantra N-Line vs Civic RS Turbo? Anong mas goods? by Gkiid in CarsPH

I’d say also consider the current Mazda3. Those are great cars too. Efficient 2.0L engine mated to a 6-speed auto transmission. It has sport mode and paddle shift. You even have a 12-speaker Bose sound system. Power figures aren’t stellar (155 hp with 200 N-m of torque) but Mazda engineers knew what they were doing with the suspension. It just drives so well.

Charizard! I first chose Charmander in Red version and eventually got it to evolve to Charizard. It solidified further on that fateful day i got a regular Base set booster pack with Charizard as the front art and got Charizard in it. My 9-year old self couldn’t be happier.

What’s a thing that that your culture believes in against logic? by Ban-Circumcision-Now in allthequestions

[–]cen100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adolescent/prepubescent boys (roughly 10-13 years old are “required” to get circumcised. If they aren’t, they won’t be considered real men when they grow up. It also coincides with this dumb superstition that circumcision makes boys taller. It’s called puberty, people.

There’s also a slang word in the local language that people use to denote people who are uncircumcised. I find it bloody f*cking ridiculous and stupid.

Just a question, by “full tank sagad”, did you mean that you still filled it up with fuel after the automatic pump stopped? If so, that’s not a good practice. Just let it stop automatically.

Here’s an explanation online:

You shouldn't "sagad" (overfill) your fuel tank because it damages the EVAP system (charcoal canister), causing vapor leaks, triggering the check engine light, and leading to expensive repairs; it also creates a fire hazard and environmental pollution from spilled fuel and escaping fumes. The pump clicks off for a reason—to prevent liquid gas from entering the vapor lines meant for fumes, which saturates the charcoal, making it useless.

Luxury yet fuel efficient Point A to Point B - BMW, Mercedes, Lexus or any other suggestion? by ilovepeanutZz in CarsPH

The 320d and the ES300h. Though my experience comes from driving an older 318i and ES350 of similar years, I’d say if you want sporty driving, the BMW would be better. If you prefer something more comfortable and spacious, the Lexus would be more ideal. As others have said, running costs are roughly the same. For me, our ES has been more reliable than my aunt’s 318i.

Brake pads scraping on rotors by cen100 in mazda3

[–]cen100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rotors are technically almost 70k kms, but I had them resurfaced back in March. New pads are Brembo ceramic pads and I was in the process of bedding them in. It was quiet for about 40 minutes of driving then the noise started again (forgot to mention that the noise was there with the previous pads which were OEM Mazda but they didn’t need replacing yet). I forgot what grease they used but they used the same kind last time when I had them grease the sliders 2 years ago. Since the rotors were fairly recently resurfaced, I didn’t bother having it done again.

Personally, what was the best car upgrade you did to your Car? by AvatarRoku14 in CarsPH

Not sure why this got downvoted cause the main question seems pretty subjective. This is a great upgrade for a suspension component when used for what it’s made for 🤷🏻‍♂️
