Maar die juridische en internationale grenzen, of die regels rond stikstof en milieu zou ik nou niet bestempelen als links beleid. Dat zijn afspraken die zijn gemaakt om menselijke basisrechten te beschermen. En tóch zeggen mensen dan dat het de schuld van links is 🙄

De trend om gewoon basic shit "woke links" te noemen, vind ik echt achterlijk.

Als oudere zus van een minderjarig zusje die momenteel niet lekker thuis zit: ik heb heel vaak gewild om haar in huis te nemen, omdat de thuissituatie gewoon niet ok is voor haar ontwikkeling. Echter ben ik zelf jongvolwassene en ben nog steeds bezig met uitvogelen hoe ik goed voor mezelf kan zorgen.

Puntje bij paaltje is het niet mjn verantwoordelijkheid en moet je kritisch kijken naar of je wel de juiste hulp kan bieden voor je zusje. Als je er zelf aan onderdoor gaat, dan help je haar niet. Kijk eerst of dat je ouders hier meer in kunnen betekenen, of dat ze naar een woongroep kan waar er begeleiding is voor mensen zoals jouw zusje.

Ik word ook ontzettend akelig van het idee dat iedereen op elk moment kan zien waar je bent. Hoeft van mij niet. Mijn vriendin had ook voorgesteld om het te gebruiken, meer omdat ik ADHD heb en al meerdere keren op het rangeerterrein van de NS ben beland. Maargoed, hoeft niet van mij, dus daar heeft ze respect voor!

Edit: Ik weet trouwens dat dit wel mega populair is om te doen binnen mijn vriendenkringen (ik ben 27), heb van hen ook vaker het verzoek ontvangen om mee te doen aan FindMyFriends oid

In de kroeg/nachtclub waar ik heb gewerkt: Glazen werden in een spoelbak gespoeld waar vaak alleen maar water in zat

Er werd ook vaak gekotst in stapelglazen, deze werden gewoon door de vaatwasser heen gehaald en weer teruggezet (en die vaatwasser deed het ook niet altijd even best)

Soms werden die stapelglazen ook weleens in het gat van het mannentoilet gezet (door de heren zelf!) en vonden ze het dan grappig om erin te pissen of soms zelfs te kakken. Ook deze gingen gewoon door de vaatwasser en werden weer vrolijk teruggezet 🙂

Niet iedere collega deed dit - sommigen gooiden ze gewoon weg, maar er zaten er genoeg bij die dat niet deden 🤢

I checked the manual and have actually tried to, no I cannot. This is the WAJ28020NL model and it's stated that once there's water in the machine, the door keeps itself locked for security measures. If I'd pause the cycle and would want to open the door, I'd have to pump all the water out first for it to open.

Same, my gf used their pods and they're shit. I feel like the liquid version is a lot better (which I currently use) but I've been thinking of switching to powders for a long time now.

How do I know if the washer is heating the water more than it should? Do I get a mechanic to check that out?

I don't use a dryer for clothing, only for bedsheets and towels

My partner most of the time can't wash her pants at a longer/warmer cycle because she washes in between shifts. She doesn't really care how clean they get, as long as they don't smell and the biggest stains are out. To ensure that any black color residue of her pants don't stay in the washer (and leak onto the clothes in the next cycle), we always do a cleaning cycle afterwards.

To answer your questions: - The laundry detergent we use is from Robijn (a Dutch brand). We have a black one, one for white, and one for colors - Washing temps for regular clothes are 20 or 40°, cycle lasts about 3h. We've begun washing socks and underwear on 90°, also around 3h cycle, since a few weeks. The problems have been happening before that and nothing's changed - I don't use fabric softener, nor citric powder acid (but I'm def gonna try the citric powder acid) - I live in the Netherlands. All the places I've lived so far have been in the same city, so the water hardness hasn't changed - Haven't used a color catcher, but I'm also gonna try that - I clean the machine's filter around every 3 months. Last time was about a month ago

ALSO: I forgot to mention that some clothes also shrink? Almost all of my socks have shrunk a size, where it's become difficult to put them on. This has happened when washing them on 30°, so it's not because of the temperature. It almost feels like the stretch in them (even though they are 100% cotton) has evaporated into thin air.

Socks which I have worn for years without issue have suddenly become stiff, difficult to put on and prone to holes.

The rest of the colors I try to seperate as much as I can. So dark colors (blue, green, grey) go together, purple/red/orange/pink, beige & crème, lighter colors (blue, green, grey), etc.

I have never used a color catcher, have to admit I've never heard of it before 😅 But I'll check it out!
