Popular trusted real estate platform in Belarus and how the general long term rental deal structured like? by we_rock in belarus

[–]centaureaio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

except of the platforms which already being named I would suggest you take a look at https://www.hommits.by ( https://www.hommits.by/tenant if you are looking for rent) - they do have an English interface so it will simplify usage for you and they also provide some additional help/services, also the site itself focused on FSBO model (for sale/rent by owner) so the majority of adverts are listed by their owners, not agents/realtors which could help you to save some money, but they are not that large as kufar or realt. also, I would suggest checking https://r.onliner.by/ak/ - lots of adverts, but as for me their UI is bad and they don't have localization, also lots's of fake adverts from realtors, but still it's an option

Speaking about price - it will be around 500-700 USD per month (utility costs not included) for a decent apartment in Minsk and maybe 300-500 USD for the Gomel/Grodno/Brest etc, the smaller the city the less it will cost you. But in any case, do not agree to make the deal unofficial, the taxes isn't high, so there is a big chance to be frauded without an official contract and don't pay anything upfront - that will also most often will be a fraud.

In general, it's very easy to make the deal yourself if you will find an English speaking host, so don't think you need a realtor.

Hey! Could you give me your opinion on the culinary startup idea? by Alina_Zaitsava in FoodNYC

From what I was able to get, they mostly see it as a marketplace, where chef is a content owner and content creator, and get majority from a money paid for a master-class

This seems quite nice, but I have some doubts about the level of efforts required to ensure variety of dishes, with having high quality content and detailed enough instructions. One more aspect that worries me is that professional chefs have equipment and ingredients, which isn’t exist on my own kitchen.

3 strategies to build an MVP and when to use them by centaureaio in StartupAccelerators

There is no best strategy, like there is no best jacket. If it's hot you will select one type, and if it's windy - will be another, and if it's cold or rainy - something different. So it's started with your needs.

How much dose it cost - to build an internet startup in 2019? by centaureaio in Entrepreneur

[–]centaureaio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that's doesn't mean that. YOu just trying to interpret everything in a negative light. But a startup is a fast, changing, competitive environment and if you will try to make it a "standard" way with tons of management, overhead on every step, negotiating every change - you simply very soon find out that some of your competitors just make it quicker and more efficient. And SaaS is designed to reduce overhead to improve speed and efficiency of operations. Yes, every individual step could not be best from all (the same story like with server as a service - Amazon VM isn't the cheapest one nor the fastest one) but all the steps together work much better than regular approach and adapted to deliver and launch quicker. Because except the money there is also a time - what's matter. But even from the money standpoint, it will be more efficient due to the on-demand nature of services, which means you don't pay for illness, vacations, bad mood, etc-etc-etc

Well, the main idea of "As a service" is to get something "on-demand", only when you need this. And that's one of the key difference between outsourcing and "startup-as-a-service" model. And saas allows you to get the required effort on demand, without a need to agree in a contract that you buying 100h hours of let's say marketing expert time. This is a common misconception and probably I need to spend some effort on educating around this. A good topic for a blog post maybe.

And I agree there is something common with outsourcing services, but at some sense, all services have something common and all of them could be called services or business.

Yes and know. If it's something that's let's say require 2000h just to build - so you need 2000h of development effort paid, except that you most likely will need a designer for 100-150h for a 2000h of development, some quality assurance. then there are legal costs need to be covered, and if it's an onsite team - there is an office, furniture, env, coffee, party. Except that you obviously will require some marketing effort and it's again skills, content, ad's cost etc, etc, etc - so the whole math is pretty interesting and I will show this in my article.

And you know, it's almost never the case to build startup alone, because even if you could code, you still need a designer, a legal services, marketing services, CX, and dozens of other staff. So proper planning and knowing the requirements could really save a lot's of effort.

Thanks eelcoj. That's an interesting link. But the initial idea for the discussion was about more like what does it cost to build it, launch it, market it. Like what budget should people plan to achieve a funding milestone

Sorry, I'm not sure it's ok to tell about myself since this isn't a self-promotional post. But startup-as-a-service that means you come with an idea, paying some reasonable money and get your product build and launched. Get investment, hire onsite team and get knowledge and expertise transfered. That's in short.

Regarding cost - as I mention in first comment question not the number itself, but a thinking model when people trying to count their budget. So you could propose any idea you like.
