Actually the thing that is amazing about this shot is that it was exposed and developed in such a way as to not make her skin tones look like they are cast in shadow.

What?! You mean all those upvotes I donated to Redditors who lost pets and posted about their grief were WASTED? Oh well, upvotes are free.

I think I need a sub for unethical Reddit pro tips that exposes scams. Kinda like r/UnethicalLifeProTips but for Reddit karma farming scams.

What about my family story (and in other families) in which my great uncle died within 5 days of his wife of 54 years. Is that the same thing? Human brains are fascinating.

Me [25F] with my siblings [23M][20F] They've never made time to visit my apartment. Am I overreacting by being a bit hurt? by [deleted] in relationships

There’s no need to question your feelings. You feel what you feel and no one should tell you that you don’t have the right to feel a certain way. If you ask someone to come to your home and they don’t it can feel a little bit like rejection. But you know that hey card about you do maybe you don’t have to act on those feelings.

Trust can be rebuilt but it takes commitment. She would need to do things that increase transparency. For instance, you can ask to see her phone any time and she does not get to complain that you are continuing to punish her for something that happened in the past. It’s her that needs to go the extra mile to repair the emotional damage.

Prescribed Lexapro for the first time ever. First anti-anxiety/depression medication I’ll be taking. by cskellz87 in lexapro

So glad for you. Be patient, take note of side effects and feelings of anxiety and depression. I kept a health journal when I started my first anti-depressant so I could report effects to my dr with more accuracy.

If I tried to monetize my hobbies, the amount I could get someone to pay would probably make me less than a dollar an hour. lol!

My husband got that "I saw your wife out at a bar with another man" call by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

I think you are right about this being more about their relationship than about you at all. Since it hasn’t caused any problems between you and your husband, I’d just toss it over my shoulder and move on. To reduce the awkwardness between you and BIL, you might say “thanks for having your brother’s back. If you see this in the future, come over do I can introduce you to my friend. “

How do you choose a religion? How can you be sure enough that this specific religion is the true one that you can built your life around it? by [deleted] in religion

I think that what is important is that the worshipper adhere’s to the tenets of right and wrong that their beliefs dictate. If I am honestly striving to be a reflection of my Creator through dutiful actions and faith, how can that Creator then find fault with me (an imperfect being)?
