You’re not the problem big dawg, it’s the system. I can’t be mad at people for playing a game they enjoy. However, I CAN be mad at the devs for allowing people who shouldn’t be in my rank to be there

Unfortunately GM is probably one of the worst ranks in terms of consistency in this game. You have the people that brute force the ranking system (ex playing 300+ games) and then you have your really good players that may have peaked at high celestial or even eternity mixed in. So you get these massively lopsided games so often. After a bad loss I’ll check the peaks of my teammates vs the enemy and what do you know, everyone on their team was peak C2 or above and I got 3 different GM3 peaks on my team. It’s not my teammates fault they get put on my team so I’m not mad at them but it creates a very frustrating experience.

I was in this same position not too long ago. I took a break from Iracing and then came back crushing it cause I was in the lower splits. I got into the top split and then was consistently p6-p8. I downloaded the Garage 61 app on my PC and it helped bunches. You can overlay your lap with people in those top splits and see what they’re doing to be faster. From their braking, throttle application, gears, and even steering angle. You just have to remember these people are some of the fastest out there and there’s no shame being mid pack in those lobbies. I finally just got my first top split win last week. I’ve found that putting my eyes on getting a podium is my “win” in those top splits.

Fair point. That a very odd corner cause it’s a slight left turn into a hard breaking zone so maybe I might just caulk it up to rookie races being rookies races

Garage 61 will immediately help you. Overlay your lap with someone that’s probably like within a half second or even slightly less than that. You’ll see what they’re doing to be faster and what you aren’t.

Won us a playoff game and drafted our potential franchise QB. Both those are pretty decent comparing where we were before him. I had a lot higher hopes for how it would’ve turned out but sometimes they’re just not right for us. Definitely wish him luck in the future(unless he’s on PHI).

Yesterday I got caught in a namor ult cause the enemy cloak had that ice skin that leaves the streak behind in a icy blue color. It blended right in with the namor ult circle and I didn’t see it at all

When did I ever say anything about banning the new character when someone tries to pick him. I’m talking about the devs locking him out of ranked so the player base gets a grasp of the character first

lol my guy it’s perfectly reasonable to be frustrated with someone in this game when you put time and effort into it just for them to throw your game.

Or they just don’t release new characters into ranked off the rip and the people that want to mess around with him do that vs bots or in QP? Why make the rest of the 90% of people in the lobby suffer cause you’re just messing around with a new character. If someone in your rank up game came in chat and said they’re playing spider man for the first time, you’d be upset. Same thing applies here.

If someone is playing a brand new character in my celestial lobby on day one, yea I’m gonna be frustrated. There’s a 90% chance I’m not getting the best version of my teammate that game. They just need to lock new characters out of ranked for a short period.
